This is the same BS we heard before the Ortiz fight. No coincident that Ortiz beat the same fighter The Ghost beat but Ortiz didn't have to foul him the whole fight to win. This seems to be a campaign to build the Ghost for the beat down he's gonna get. Didn't Marquez just say that he has no interest in fighting Floyd again? So who's playing it safe?

Marquez said that Floyd don't take risk and thats why he won't fight Guerrero.
So he is clearly saying that Floyd is ducking the tougher style of fight.
As if all Floyd wants to fight is counter punchers.

Floyd has fought every style out there so Marquez comments are way off base.

The "fights" on! The "Ghost" vs the "Most"!!!! 'I expect Robert to fight the same way he fought Berto except to be less agressive at first!! However he needs to get ruff n tuff with Floyd and force Floyd to fight!!!

Marquez has a great resume.
When you fight Pacquiao 4 times and move up to fight Mayweather, that says alot right there.

But to say that Floyd doesn't take risk and cherry picks is a joke when Marquez has recently in his last five fights fought the likes of Pacquiao twice, Ramos,Fedchenko,Katsidis,.

Seems to me that Marquez doesn't like to risk the Pacquiao fights so he fights bums in between them.

So it's okay for Marquez to take tuneups but not okay for Mayweather?
And i'm sorry but there was nothing dangerous about Juan Diaz when Marquez fought him the second time after he had already ko'd him in the first fight.

There was nothing dangerous about a washed up Casamayor.
Or a washed up Barrera.

Throw in victor polo, Kokietgym,Salido ,jaca,and Rocky Juarez . Not elite fighters if you ask me.

Marquez greatness comes from beating Pacquiao thats it.
If you question Floyds resume then you have to question Marquez's.

Marquez' "tune ups" are against guys like Fedchenko, Ramos, etc. Floyd's are against Ortiz and Guerrero, top ranked fighters at his weight.

His wins against Casamayor, Katsidis, and J. Diaz were fine by me. They were all top ranked fighters at 135. But since then, his only win of note was Pacquiao, but it was a BIG WIN for sure.

I remember there being interest in a Diaz rematch, but I was talking more about the first Diaz fight. But the last 2 1/2 - 3 years, Marquez only notable win has been Manny. I want to see Marquez fight Bradley, Rios, Matthysse, Garcia, if he intends on fighting still.
