I think it'll come down to who can adapt better to the other's style.

At the risk of sounding a bit biased, I say Floyd would fight Sergio differently than he did Cotto.

Macklin was able to hit Sergio all night with rights to the body.

Barker was able to hit Sergio all night with rights to the face.

        What's Floyd's favorite punch?

Be serious here Floyd has the right style to fight Martinez. The real question is Floyd's skills, IQ, heart, style, etc enough to overcome Martinez greater size?

Martinez managed to look as good as he did last night partially due to Chavez Jr. A durable Mexican punching bag will allow a competent boxer to unload and display his entire offensive arsenal.

If Floyd had middleweight type power, your post would have relevance.....

Yeah because you have so much information to conclude this... Like I said, you a damn fool. Only a manny fanny boy would say some ****** **** like this.

u kno what, martinez can make 154 safely, n moneymay had the balls to challenge cotto at 154, moneymay takes a lot of credit for fighting cotto at 154 knowing that he was gona win, now take sergio at 154 i think is fair cause martinez is a lil old but will have size advantage

Well of course he would. Lol. But I think sergii's style would be much harder for Floyd to deal with than vice versa. He's dealing with someone he has to put on his best performance to out box, while also worrying about a ko coming from no where. Too much speed and power. If Martinez was a bigger guy, but a brawler/plidder, Floyd gets decisive edge, but he's the bigger guy, with a style that's nightmare for Floyd. Fast, southpaw, unlimited gas tank, won't get hurt by Floyd, can hurt Floyd with any 1 punch, at any given time. Its like if Martinez fought Chavez, but Chavez had some actual skills.

Edit: don't mind that flag, not flaming your post, no idea how it got there. Lol.

So now I'm a Pacman fan. Anything else you'd like to make up. Name the fighter Floyd has faced that's on Martinez's level. (I dare you).

I would love to hear what some of you think a "HIGH IN RING IQ IS" what is your Definition of that?

Because I don't put Martinez anywhere close to that category...Martinez to me is in that Roy Jones Jr Category, an amazing athlete taking full advantage of his SPEED ADVANTAGE and Superior Athletes in his Division

I have great respect for Martinez but lets be honest for a Second...he has been fighting Flat Footed fighters since his Rise on the P4P List, I think Barker was like the only guy that could move A LITTLE but for the most part most of them have been Flat Footed stiffs with limited Athleticism

It is going to be REAL INTERESTING to see how Martinez fights against someone who is just as fast...IF NOT FASTER then him especially the way he keeps his hands down but regardless I think Ward and Martinez are #1 and #2 P4P at the moment
