Floyd's boxing legacy is secure already without having to fight Martinez, although I think he should fight Martinez
Great point. Hilarious how it's all of the detractors wanting him to "Go for the gold" like they are fans or something, when really they just want to see him lose

You're not too hard to figure out, all your little bolded fonts and colours don't mask anything.
You also said that you like Manny ..... so should I believe this one? For now I will give you the benefit of the doubt but you are just one. Many Floyd fans give that excuse or that Marquez was P4P#2 fighters as their excuse for that fight being legit.

One of those Floyd fans that did say the excuse mentioned was one of the other guys that I responded to in this thread. Hard to sometimes keep track of the excuse and the Floyd fans saying it! lol!

BUT the funny thing is that Marquez needed to fight Floyd because Marquez wanted to fight Floyd at his best weight but they don't say that about Martinez, do they?

The thing is you Floyd fans, including you Turbo, try to protect his legacy in one thread then say Floyd is fighting guys like Cotto, Canelo, Marquez because its business or he is already is going to the HOF.

Once again TS is showing his naivety. Fighters fight for checks, legacy is a bonus. You think Martinez is worried about his legacy? Chavez Jr is one of the weakest champions at 160 so why is Martinez going after him?

He is fighting Cotto because the Pac fight fell through and Cotto was the best available option at that point really. Floyd doesn't need to fight Canelo either. His legacy is already set.

Why do you guys worry so much about his legacy when Floyd himself really could care less?

Because he wants to shut Chavez up for one but Martinez knows that he will not be able to fight Mayweather until he probably turns 38/39 years old (if he does)!

Who did you want Martinez to fight?

Martinez against Floyd happening later is not going to be the same most probably because Martinez is going to turn 38 .... but maybe that is what Floyd wants?
