Mayweather always fights for over $20m guarantee while Pacquiao ranges from $5m-$7.4 and that's according to the NSAC.
Now Mayweather is giving Pacquiao $40m and no risk on PPV and Mayweather is shouldering the risk so what's wrong with that?
Pacquiao is trying to reap where he did not sow by going into Mayweather's equity here, taking a cut on Mayweather's brand by demanding 50-50 when their previous revenues don't show such a case and life's not like that. Why should Mayweather get the shorter end of the stick when he's the man? This is the reason why this fight won't happen,Pacquiao is living in some strange fantasy which is not supported by reality.Arum meanwhile knows the truth that's why he's putting a face and pretending all this rubbish to protect the TR brand.
In a way if you decide to differ I don't blame you.Laymen will not understand this because it gets technical, with business models on this one.If you studied engineering or medicine I don't blame you brother you are very intelligent but will not understand business just like I do not understand all your complicated engineering, this is business stuff and not just ordinary business, all MBA guys are with me on this one unless they went to a crap school
lol wow u are delusional. ppv risk??? lol yeah cuz I'm sure there is a good chance this would flop right??

if this is true, then u gotta ask yourself how much Floyd would make. 60 million? 70 million?? 80 million??? no way that's fair.

but this needs to be comfirmed first. if true totally unreasonable by Floyd, but again, we got to see if this is actually accurate or not.

40 Million is more than generous and really speaking it could have been negotiated in such a way that Arum would not receive a dime. He'd get his guaranteed purse of around 7 million along with 40 making 47 million dollars.

Damn! one minute it appears that Arum is preventing the fight from happening and now this. I was really ticked with Arum when it appeared that the 2 fighters wanted the fight but it was him that was holding everything up. Now, with floyd saying 50-50 is not happening and Manny can't get any of the PPV, it appears that its Floyd holding up the fight.

That offer is insulting! Both guys are the biggest names in the sport. So why not go 50-50? It would still be both guy's biggest payday. On top of that, these 2 are already rich. The fans have made them who they are. Now its time to get the deal done reasonably and make the fight for the fans.

It would be ****** to take a flat rate for this fight, for the record. One of the biggest mistakes Oscar made during his career was that he took a guarantee with the Trinidad fight instead of going off the PPV buys and he substantially made less money because of it.

Green K. Well said. As I mentioned in my previous post, Floyd won't demand this unless he's sure it will break records.

He doesn't have the risk as he doesn't spend money promoting the fight. All he has to do is use Twitter.
