      And what's the reason?
Mayweather always fights for over $20m guarantee while Pacquiao ranges from $5m-$7.4 and that's according to the NSAC.
Now Mayweather is giving Pacquiao $40m and no risk on PPV and Mayweather is shouldering the risk so what's wrong with that?
Pacquiao is trying to reap where he did not sow by going into Mayweather's equity here, taking a cut on Mayweather's brand by demanding 50-50 when their previous revenues don't show such a case and life's not like that. Why should Mayweather get the shorter end of the stick when he's the man? This is the reason why this fight won't happen,Pacquiao is living in some strange fantasy which is not supported by reality.Arum meanwhile knows the truth that's why he's putting a face and pretending all this rubbish to protect the TR brand.
In a way if you decide to differ I don't blame you.Laymen will not understand this because it gets technical, with business models on this one.If you studied engineering or medicine I don't blame you brother you are very intelligent but will not understand business just like I do not understand all your complicated engineering, this is business stuff and not just ordinary business, all MBA guys are with me on this one unless they went to a crap school

wow, a ***** now is acting like he has an MBA.

There will be no monetary risk for Floyd for this fight. He doesn't spend MONEY for PROMOTIONS. He can promote free using TWITTER and interviews.

He knows this will break records, and knowing Floyd, he will not make a move if he is not so sure of it like he will not fight an opponent who has a chance to beat him.

To act this way is simply solidifying, he doesn't want to fight. He knows Arum won't approve of it.

Popularity is one thing,a market is another.Pacquiao might ne popular but if his guys do not buy the fights then who cares?Pacquiao fills MGM but how much does he make in gate takings? That shows you Pacquiao has a smaller market than Mayweather.
If Pacquiao had a market would he really be making $7.4m as a career high?He would have bought himself out long back.
This matters man because we are talking about livelihoods here.Pacquiao's just an opponent and Mayweather was being generous by giving him a career high of $40m.
Do the math and compare their like for like fights to see who generated more cash.COmpare
              DelaHoya
              Hatton
              Mosley
              Marquez
In all these fights Mayweather's a common opponent.
How much was made in gate takings
How much was made as PPV revenue
Now aggregate all that and compare, that forms the basis of allocation.
              Once you've done that,let's talk.

Mayweather just needs to offer 50-50, otherwise, how does he make what he is asking for without Pac?? If Mayweather does not change his stance and holds his demand of more than 50-50, then he will end up making 50% of nothing.
