im still waiting for someone to explain to me why calzaghe gets credit for a dubious decision win over hopkins yet winky gets no credit for dubious decision losses to vargas and taylor. if you are being consistent and giving calzaghe credit for beating hopkins you should give winky credit for beating taylor and vargas. you don't even have to take credit away from calzaghe just give winky his due! do you really let official decisions influence you that much? if so i guess sven ottke was really undefeated after all.Last edited by daggum; 12-16-2011, 02:03 PM.

Winky might be the better fighter skills and talent wise. But, Calzaghe is the greater fighter IMO. I would put Joe into the HOF...I wouldn't vote for Winky to go in.
Resume and accomplishment wise Joe has Winky beat by a solid margin. I don't know how you can give the edge to Winky.
When I think hall of fame, Winky is not a name that comes to mind. He has not separated himself from his peers and his wins are extremely boring.
