i'm not saying it's bad at all, but given the opponents he's been fighting lately, people are claiming it's the best in history. dude gets simply outboxed when you stick and move. hey may have fast feet but, that doesn't always mean good footwork.

As corners go, I think Pac wins. The trust between them is second to none. If I was a betting man the obvious choice would be to put the house on Floyd if they ever fight. Still doesn't change the fact that this fight needs to happen. Pac's downfall will be Floyd straight right.

The Pac v. ODLH fight showed that Pac was def. capable of shooting that same punch, but w/ his left efficiently.

Actually, it's not sticking and moving that has ever bothered Pacquiao. He's beaten guys who stick and move, and convincingly. The two fighters that gave him the most trouble in his career as a top level fighter, Marquez and Morales, did so by standing in and exchanging with him, using their counter punching to push Pacquiao back.

              1) Shane landed more punches on Floyd (92) than on Pac (66).
              2) Shane landed more power punches on Floyd (46) than on Pac (22).
              3) Floyd landed 123 (46%)power punches on Shane, Pac landed 177 (50%).
              4) Pac landed more punches on a running Shane (224) than Floyd (208) on a willing to exchange Shane.

Question: Based on these stats and considering that Pac had a height, weight and reach disadvantage against Shane, who's the more accomplished boxer, Floyd or Pac?

You the homie Larry but I gotta respectfully disagree with you here. I actually see this being a much more one sided affair than Vic-Floyd (before the KO). Two things Vic had going for him, Youth and Strength. Manny won't be able to dictate the pace, he won't be able to dictate the distance and Floyd's BIGGEST strength is the fact he can make you fight his fight. Oh you throw 60 punches a round? It will drop to 35-40 against Mayweather and once that happens you have already lost.

Take note on the total punches stats for the Pac/Shane fight. Pac had a very low connect percentage for jabs thrown. Reason? Shorter arms.

Compare this now to his connect rate for power punches. 50% at an average of 22/rd.! 22 per round, that's the total that Shane landed for the whole 12 rounds. And this was against a running Shane. A smaller guy whose reach is several inches shorter but connecting half of his power punches on a bigger guy who was on a running and defense mode. He did this not just to Shane but to most of his recent opponents who are as big or even bigger than Mosley. How does he do it?

If you can figure out this puzzle, then you'll get an inkling why Floyd would have no part of Pac.
