I never said he's a quitter forever, I'm just pointing out the ridiculousness of this place.

Ortiz is a good fighter, but how is he now a world beater because he signed to fight Floyd?

If Pac signed to fight Ortiz, you know what people would be saying...they would say that Pac is picking on some young green kid that quit vs a bum like Maidana and beat an overrated fighter in Berto.

There is no winning in this place, it's a joke and 99% of the people here couldn't identify a boxing match if they were the referee.

I dont think its fair for you to IMPLY what ffans MIGHT say versus wht PAC fans ARE ACTUALLY saying. No one said Ortiz was a world beater. Ortiz earned the right to fight either floyd or amnny by moving up in weight and beating an undefeated champion. Tim Bradley, according to most posters, did the same thing when he beat an undefeated JWW.

Opinions on Vic should change after beating berto. No he isn't on floyds level because no one may be. But he is the 3rd best ww right now.

You get older, **** changes man. Marg was in his 20's against Santos, when you hit your 30's your body changes man.

Sometimes you get old quick, it has happened to many fighters. Marg is NOT the same fighter he was before and never will be, that's just a fact.

EXACTLY that is why, given his RECENT losses and weight problems, and factoring in his performance in his last 3 fights, and factoring in the long layoff and the brutal beatings and injuries from the Mosley and Pac fights:

I FIND IT HARD TO PICK MARGARITO AGAINST VICTOR ORTIZ AT 147 RIGHT NOW !!!.

If Marg fights again and shows something different maybe. But I doubt highly that Ortiz, even if he was not with GBP, would be selected as Margs next opponent.

Against Cotto, 4 people watched Margaritos hands being wrapped including Cottos uncle. Keith Kizer stated there was no way Margaritos gloves were loaded. Margarito also had his gloves off after the bell and walked around the ring shaking hands with everyone, including the ref. Tony never cheated in any his fights. When he was on trial with the CSAC it was a farce from start to finish. The CSAC said there was only TRACE elements of two substances found in the wraps (look up what "trace" means) and when it was put to them the wraps were harmless they didnt dispute it. People need to seriously look at the facts of the hand wrapping case. It was a joke from start to finish started by Richardson who had in the past accused two other fighters (including Tito Trinidad) of also tampering with hand wraps.

Prime 4 prime at welterweight Margarito will break Ortiz. Right now if they were to fight at welter I got Ortiz cos Margarito is damaged.

Can anyone seriously see vic fighting 8 rounds with a broken orbital bone and getting diced up by manny the way tony did? He would fold early and once again relinquish his soul to another in the ring.

I can imply what I want because I have seen it in this place 1 million times. I have seen Floyd fans discredit Ortiz and as soon as he signs to fight Floyd, he's all of a sudden he's a better fighter than Pac has ever fought.

What I find more disturbing in this place, is why the Floyd AND Pac fans care so much that they would create this type of propaganda. It's very bizarre and pathetic.

I like certian fighters but if they lose, they lose and I never overrate them.

Wait a minute though, your making two different argument though. Marg isn't fighting at 147 first off and second, we are comparing Marg vs Ortiz, not Marg vs Pac and Mosley of a few years back.

You are automatically assuming that Ortiz is now on their level after beating Berto. A fighter by the way that I have heard be called a "BUM" countless times in this place.

So which is it? Is Ortiz great now or is he overrated? To think Ortiz just walks though a bigger stronger Marg, even at this stage at some catch weight is foolish.
