an interesting fact - every fighter Ortiz has faced has tasted the canvas whether he won the fight or not. Floyd better be careful or he could go down "officially" for the first time in his career (i excluded the time he broke his hand)

For me it's hard to count him out. Floyd may very well give him a technical boxing lesson, i recognise that is a very likely outcome, but it's hard to count out a guy who will be 10-12 pounds heavier on the night, has power in both hands, can box inside and outside and can throw 60-70 punches a round over 12 rounds, and is a SP.

Didnt Arum do the same thing when Yuri Foreman won the title? He put him in there with Miguel Cotto and you see what happened with that. At least Vic stands a chance.

Let's get real. What Arum is talking about is Ortiz just after a big win will be feed to Mayweather losing his potential to earn more. GBP isn't good at building their fighters up like what Arum is doing.
Though this is a good matchup, it is too early for Ortiz. Arum sees potential in Ortiz. If Ortiz was under Arum, he will build him up better than what GBP is doing now.
