Ortiz does not stand a chance unless Floyd has grown old overnight. With that aside, I am looking forward to this fight.

Ortiz is a young lion and the up and comers deserve a shot at the stars. It will give us something to build on when the current stars are gone and will make the next generation household names.

So tell me if this isn't a perfect opponent for floyd. Who the hell is picking ortiz to win. The guy who had problems against JrWW like lamont peterson, quitted against Madaina is being overlooked by a his win against an overrated Berto.

Anybody who is CHOOSING to evaluate a boxer on a performance three years ago, rather than his most recent fight in his natural weight class, should give themselves an uppercut = fact.

It's too premature for Ortiz....a 3 fight build-up would have been much better and he could demand a much higher payday, IT IS BUILD-UP NOT BEING PROTECTED....It's a promoter's art of getting more PPV's......and who other fighter do you think aside from GayRunner and Pacman that could give him a bigger payday?

Do you think Ortiz against other fighter could generate himself a 5M payday?...or just maybe a 2M payday?....that would be a promoters nightmare!!!
