If matty hatton was american all the dumb yank fans would be on here singing his praises for bringing the fight and being a warrior against someone bigger and better than him,but because hes british everyones just calling him a bum,its really funny considering american boxing is built on running and holding these days

sorry but try as much as i may, i just cant like the guy. he's tough and keeps going but he's average at best, not world champ level. i thought his did well against Alvarez, he made Alvarez look limited at times too....but even still i'm a bigger fan of Alvarez and i'm British! lol

not a fan of hatton or canelo but give hatton props and respect for giving it his best. canelo had many advantages over him but hatton handled it well i believe.

Well, like others have said, I can respect his heart, his will and his determination, but it's takes more for that to be a fan, and I simply don't find him skilled and/or entertaining enough to be one.

He's not a bum, posters here are bums but not Mathew Hatton. He took a lot of punishment and landed some good shots back.

Canelo was just too fast and strong for him but the Brit came to fight, I alway give any man who steps into a ring to make his living respect.

if a guy who was outgunned gave up immediately we wouldnt even fight the fights


next time hatton fights i'm going to watch
hopefully hbo is serious about bringing him back as an opponent


their standard opponents are there for the money
hatton wanted to win

if hbo treats him well it will set an example for future opponents for hbo fighters
and it will improve the level of the fights we're given that are less than 50 - 50
