It may not take a world beater to win a european title, but "bums' don't win them either. The only time I have seen someone walk over n'dou was when he fought malignaggi but he did better in the rematch. Cotto, sharmba mitchell, junior witter, among others have struggled big time with him albeit maybe a better version. He wouldn't need to be near the top 100 of all fighters for you to be calling 75% of fighters bums, do you have any idea how many fighters there are out there?? Boxing is about levels, Hatton is still ranked in the top 20-30 in HIS division, and if you think anyone that reaches that level is a bum then you reveal your own ignorance, you are like the majority of posters here you only watch championship boxing. But the difference is most guys don't call fighters who fall short at world level and only reach european level or nabf (gatekeeper level) bums. Those guys are not bums, I would like to see you go in with someone like that and then tell me after if you still think he is a bum.
Yes he's improved. He's going from very **** to quite ****. Boxing is about levels, and Matthew Hatton's level is and always has been poor. In his recent years after he's improved he has some wins over average fighters, a draw with Ndou and a loss every round to Alvarez.
Just save the 'I'd love to see you get in the ring' bull****. 1. You have no clue who I am and what I look like etc and 2. It's ******.

Even though I have been jokingly saying that he was going to be a tough fight for Canelo, I was actually surprised that he did so well to stand up against him.
The weight was definitely a factor against him. I will be tuning into his next bout.

I've never understood why people call professional fighters 'bums', we don't call football players, tennis players, basketball players bums yet they don't go through half the pain boxers do to earn a living.
I've seen every fighter from the pfp No.1 downwards labelled that on here and it does more to reflect the nature of the poster making the comment than the paid professional they're trying to demean.
Re. MattHatt, he's just a fighter doing his best, in any occupation in life we can't ask anything more than that from a person and certainly shouldn't disrespect him for it.
