Astrology In Fighting... Interesting perspective

man I wish I had been logging in at the time you started this thread...cuz I'm huge on astrology...would've loved to get involved...but ah well...one thing I found interesting was how you mentioned Aries to be the most powerful of all the signs...I feel Scorpio is the most powerful but you had it at a close second so no big deal..

For example, it would be extremely difficult for you to find a Pisces or Aquarian all time great because they are usually the weaker signs of the zodiac.

Scorpio is the quiet storm while aries is the direct force. Scorpio is more passive aggressive they will plan your demise while Aries would just throw the first punch.


It's different.


However that is conventional wisdom of power. In boxing you'll see if you actually went through history, scorpios and aries are very very under-represented amongst ATG's.


That is why this thread has been fascinating as it was a discovery process for a lot of us. myself included.

dude is a borderline top 50 if even.


Ward is not close to ATG.


Oscar is close but still more known for losing the biggest fights of his career and being pretty.


I will concede that Oscar is an exception but he's not the rule. astrology is an inclination it isn't absolute. You naming exceptions do not discredit the fact that those signs in particular are very under-represented in the history of boxing.

you have to weave through some narrowminded idiots though but that is expected in a thread about astrology.

I'm not an astrology buff, but I find intrigue, so if anyone knows any good books that are good reads, by all means, let me know. I have one story to share

When I was in Peru a few years back, I was training on my off time at a local gym. My trainer was so very philosophical and can just talk your ears off, all good stuff. Anyways, he was into astrology very heartily.

One day he had me sparring against one of his MW prospects. I was about 150, trying to get to 147. I was getting my ass beat but kept going hard. After the 4th round when we were done, he asked me if I was a cancer, and I said yes. All he said, was that he could tell. Interesting stuff. I am cancer of the sun and pisces of the moon.

bro cancer suns are some of the most primitive fighters in history.


Jack Dempsey, Jake the ragine bull Lamotta, Mike Tyson, Julio Cesar Chavez, Carl Froch, Junama, Marcos Maidana, Vitali Klitschko, etc etc.....

Cancer sluggers are the easiest to spot by far and we covered that in this thread lol. they almost always have iron chins too. unbreakable willls.


do you watch MMA? The most famous slugger in MMA history is Wanderlei Silva(watch some of his brutal highlight reels) and he's a cancer too LOL. Ernesto Hoost is also cancer.




Note that we are only talking about the sun sign. while it does matter a lot there are many aspect of astrology you have to consider. Like the ascendant and the mars placement.
