Astrology In Fighting... Interesting perspective

No the signs that the planets are in does not matter any where near as much as the ASPECTS the planets make. In astrology aspects rule not signs.

Signs of a planet give you just a very vague filter through which to view the energy that planet expresses. However the aspect shows you in exactly which way those planets harmonize and interact and exactly how the express that energy. Obviously you get a clearer picture using both (the sign AND aspect) but if I had to choose one I'd need only the aspects to tell everything I need to know about someone, whereas with just the signs you will never get a complete picture.

i would like you to post evidence to support your theory. not just single cases either I mean multiple cases of legit ATG's with the configurations.

we have already proven in this long thread that signs matter especially placement in sun, mars and the ascendants.


it'll be very hard to find a legit ATG with mars in libra, aries or pisces. despite what aspects they may have.

Do you guys think the planet Mercury has a strong effect on boxing as well?

I've been studying the planet Mercury's effect on boxing for a few months now and I think its effects are tangible.

Lets take a look at two hall of fame Capricorn boxers: Bernard Hopkins and Roy Jones.

Bernard Hopkins is a Capricorn Sun with a Capricorn Mercury; Roy Jones on the other hand is a Capricorn Sun with an Aquarius Mercury.

Roy's style was actually very Aquarian like: unorthodox, fixed, uncanny yet brilliant.

Bernard's style is more what you'd expect from a typical Capricorn: hard nosed, focused, cautious and hard working.

Sergio Martinez also has a Mercury in Aquarius. Sergio's boxing idol is Roy Jones and his style, like Roy's, is very quirky and unorthodox.

Mercury is one of the planets I look out for

Asc, Sun or Moon if their Sun is in a sign that isn't traditionally great at boxing, Mercury, and Mars

mercury has to do with the communicatiion style? Roy communicates rather well and is a rapper. the aquarian communication style is in full affect while Bernard is just a straight shooter to the core-cap-.

Mike has an easy chart. Mars is very happy in violent pursuits if it's making rough aspects to Uranus and Pluto.

We already covered how Cancers are the most aggressive sign and generally the greatest water for boxing.

That Sagi Moon helps gives Mike with his explosiveness.

His Scorpio Asc makes him a ticking time bomb. Lots of Scorpio guys are dangerous early and fade later in the fight. Cotto and Zab for example.

Neptune in 1st house can suggest drug abuse and elusiveness. Prime Mike had extremely great defense and elusiveness for someone with a crazy aggressive style. He's also open about how he used drugs before.

Saturn in 5th can suggest a delay in starting your *** life. Mike confesses in his documentary how he held it in for years to focus on his boxing training and ended up ****ing a b*tch for the first time years later deep into boxing. I have this placement too, and I wasn't so interested in b1tches while I was boxing.......b1tches

Bernard has a Capricorn Sun. Capricorn is the sign that supposedly ages like wine. They say Caps get younger as they go pass 30. We seen Bernard enter his prime later than most guys. To me, Bernard is the epitome of Capricorn. He's the most disciplined fighter ever in boxing. Lives a monk lifestyle outside of the ring.

His Moon is in Gemini. Gemini is an Air Sign with quick mental processes. Bernard is either the smartest or 2nd smartest mofo in boxing right now. Gemini also represents youthfulness.

His Mars, planet of War, is in Virgo. It's also a smart AZZ sign known for youthfulness.

Put all the pieces together and you can see how Bernard develooped into what he is.

My guess is he has an Aries Ascendant. He looks like them and says whatever the **** he wants to.
