Clear this up for me...what i dont understand about Floyd and OST

I said in the first post, if he thinks he can beat Pac, and wants the biggest payday of his career, then why shoot himself in the foot and decide its time to 'clean up the sport'?

If i was Floyd, and had the chance to make a huge amount of money against a fighter i thought i could beat yet who was on PED's, why would i ask for OST ?
If i believed my opponent was really on PED's then asking for random testing would almost certainly make him back out. And rob me of $50mil.




I still dont get why he compromised on no cut off date if he really wanted to rid the sport of PED's.

I can understand that maybe Pac has psychological issues with blood being taken. He believes it will weaken him.

Yet i dont understand why Floyd would impose drug testing on the biggest cash cow in boxing when he believes he would easily beat Pac, and says he fights for money.

He says he wants to clean up boxing, but originally tried to negotiate a 14 days cut off??
(14 days or whatever it was, any cut off date isnt cleaning up the sport).

Regardless of wether you think it's cleaning up the sport or not to have a cut off date, OST is a step in the right direction.

What I don't understand is why Pac was so against it in the first place, only to be willing to agree with the 14 day cut off date several months later, what changed?

I'm not saying Pac is on something, but I understand Mayweather being even more su****ious when a fighter says " No I wont take tests unless i know when they will be given and they have to stop 3 weeks before the fight, 14 day is unacceptable"

Followed a few months later with "Sure, 14 days is fine, hell i'll even do 7 days".

Again, I personally don't think Pac is on PEDs, but i do wonder what's changed and why now and not in March?

it's not a tactic to hype up the fight. it's a wifebeater tactic to avoid fighting the biggest challenge of wifebeater's career.

no one is advocating cheating, but the argument is valid, especially since there is no proof of pac ever using PEDs and pac had agreed to OST up to 7 days before the fight.
