Clear this up for me...what i dont understand about Floyd and OST

I believe Floyd would outbox Pac, but this is what i dont understand about his stance on the whole drug test issue...

I can understand that maybe Pac has psychological issues with blood being taken. He believes it will weaken him.

    (or he is using)
Either way i can understand Pacs position.

Yet i dont understand why Floyd would impose drug testing on the biggest cash cow in boxing when he believes he would easily beat Pac, and says he fights for money.

He says he wants to clean up boxing, but originally tried to negotiate a 14 days cut off??
(14 days or whatever it was, any cut off date isnt cleaning up the sport).

    I dont understand that.

    Anyone?

If you were a WW today and had a chance to fight Mayweather for 40 million..

WOULD YOU TAKE A FEW RANDOM BLOOD TESTS??

Even Freddy Roach said he would..lol

He originally wanted no cut off.

He came down to 14 days after, Pacman said he needed like 30 days without testing

Nothing consistent will ever come out from this guy. The extremists in his fanbase are experts in the art of spin.

Anyway, I don't believe the fight will happen. Pac is retiring after the Marg fight. He's not even interested in a rematch with Antonio even if he loses. Who wants to endure another rigorous, back-breaking training again and fight a huge guy?

Forget about what you hear in the news. They're unrealistic. Pac is a politician now. He has responsibilities other than boxing. Repeat after me: The Pac/May fight will not happen.

Pac controls the May/Pac fight now for making it happen. Mayweather has to beg for it. Who in his right mind would want to deal with an arrogant prick again?

I like floyd but I think it's funny when he talks about "random testing". There's no such thing as random testing in boxing, never been done before and will never happen in the future.

They should just fight. I hope they get it on sometime in 2011.

Thats not really what i was asking. I understand ur point, of course Pac should take the tests, yet if he has some psychological fear of blood being taken, or he is using PED's, then of course he wouldnt want to take the tests.

I dont understand Floyds position. He thinks he can beat Pac, talks about how he is all about making money, yet imposes drug tests.

Then when Pac agrees to 14 days, Floyd says no.

              I dont get it.

              Yea, originally.

But why compromise on 14 days if ur trying to clean up the sport?

                  he's scared of Pac, period
Floyd was anxious to reclaim the top p4p ranking from Pac
he was initially confident about the fight
but what Floyd saw in the Cotto fight scared him
he couldn't care less about "cleaning up the sport"
Floyd is afraid, and hid behind that "helping boxing" angle
only his stans are gullible enough to buy it
