Yeah blaaaaa this guy margarito is one fight out of a suspension, and looked average against a c- class fighter, is still suspended in the u.s., lost his last real fight in a terrible fashion, is another straight ahead fighter with no headmovement who will stand in front of pac and lose, but somehow hes about to fight for the title....

Its obviously a money ploy for arum and top rank and the result will make pac look like a god winning his 8th title.... And its whatever... Hip hip horaaaaay... But the thing is we floyd fans know some of the **** floyd does is bull****, all we want is for you to acknowledge that this fight is pure bull**** and stop defending it as if you dont know the deal....

ya know what will happen next, it will be catchweight titles invented by arum and roach. i can see it now....michael buffer...center ring....after having introduced both fighters and then says...."for the super/light/junior/welt/midfly in between championship of the wooooorrrrrld"!
then reaches for an inhaler to regain breath. what a ****in joke.
pacman is a pretty good fighter and is losing credibilty in my book, first of all freddie and ariza agree during negotiations with any prospective fight that mannys advantage will be his weight coupled with his speed.
so, they then make demands about weight? and penalties?
i think everybody will agree with my following two points.
point 1:boxing is an extremely disciplined sport and has weight classes with no in betweens, "in betweens" make for unfair advantage...am i the only one seeing this?
point 2: in the words of freddie roach, " floyd mayweather dont run boxing" "**** him and his demands on drug testing" no freddie....no.
floyd wants good clean fun and does have the growing support of the whole boxing world to make this a fair sport.
he should also, (if nobody does it first) make demands on fighters fighting at the correct weights to rule out any more unfair advantage the likes of freddie are used to.
we all know that changes in regime to some fighters makes for differences in performance and you all know that freddie will look at this with any possible future fight for manny and exploit any possible weight advantage by making certain demands on opponents i mean, why make the demands? answer: it will give his man the unfair advantage. and thats just wrong.
also, oscar was a ,little over the hill and drained, ricky hatton was finished and never really an elite(look what collazo did to him) and miguel cotto showed a suspect chin with at least half of the other fighters within his last ten bouts.
clottey however did not move a muscle, had he been more agressive early on i think it would have ended with a different result.
oh ! i nearly forgot, in the cotto bout miguel was using very big shots on manny and in the late rounds this should tell but, pacman was luaghing at him? how was he able to absorb these blows? cmon everyone....
finally, i think he will do pretty much the same to plasterito as he did to hatton.
people to beat pacman are paul williams, andre berto, possibly mosley and he will have an arm ache but floyd will do him with considerable ease.
in that fight there would be knockdowns but floyd wont kiss the canvas.

this fight is a farce. anyone who thinks this is a worthy fight either dnt kno boxing or. simply put they dont care. ive heard numerous manny fans pan this fight. the ones that dont, excuse it because they are manny fans. thats all well and good but just say that and stop comin up with bull**** arguments. this isnt a real 154lb title fight. neither fighter will weigh 154 at weigh in and neither fighter deserve a title fight at all. this is the corruption that permeates boxing and embarrasses it and this is the best fighter in the world participating in that corruption to enhance his legacy.

yeah on paper he is the best but he hasn't fought khan or alexander. I know you are trying to place pac and floyd on the same boat but this is entirely different to floyd ducking marg and cotto that were big names and ranked in his own division. Pac is a welterweight where bradley is not ranked and he is not a big enough name to demand attention from the elite fighters. Pac was already a huge star before he fought hatton and oscar. That is not even compareable.

the issue at hand is this fight marg and pac at 150 for a title , dealing with issues outside of this diverts away from the fact that its terrible and pure bull****... I know its easier for alot of you pac fans to bring up floyd and who he ducked but... This is pure madness

A fight with Margarito is an ok fight... And if Marg accepts 150 limit it is ok also...

I just don`t like the idea of two fighters, who both did nothing in the weight class, fighting for the championship below the weight-class limit... Catch-weight thing might be ok in the non-title fight, but c`mon 150 is closer to WW than JMW...

And also... Heavyweights sometimes fight guys 50-100 lbs heavier than themselves... I didn`t hear much cry-babying and catch-weight demanding from them...

Margarito already shattered arums dreams once when he beat cotto, then "somehow" richardson knew to watch for the wraps and marg ended up suspended. I just hope he doesnt "accidently" end up dead after he beats pacquiao in november. he knows not to cross arum cus its the hand that feeds him, but hes from tijuana so im sure he'll take his chances again.
