It's true that as long as a world title fight is within the weight class bracket, it's valid..But if a fighter wants to become a world champion & call himself the best at a certain division then he should fight the best guy at that division, even if the champion at that division weighs in at the limit, NOT FORCING THE CHAMP TO FIGHT AT A CATCH WEIGHT!!! That's NOT the way for a fighter to prove he's the best..for example; if a fighter is a champion at welterweight which is 141lbs to 147lbs(welter does not start at 140lbs like you put it. A weight class does not start where the 1 before ends, it ACTUALLY starts at 1 pound over) & the challenger is fighting at the champs weight class, then ¿Why can't the champ weigh in at the limit? It's ridiculous that a champion has to weigh 2 or 3lbs under the limit to satisfy & give the challenger an advantage, if that's the case then that challenger shouldn't even be fighting at that weight, especailly if every time that specific fighter decides to go up in weight his opponent(which is a natural at that weight) has to accommodate the fighter coming up..THAT'S BULL ****!!!!

It's easy to say pac will beat this guy and that guy when he won't face them. Same thing we call Floyd out for, you have to be unbiased on call them both out for the same thing. To this date Manny has ducked Mosley, Paul Williams, Bradley, Raheem, and out of the 7 titles he has held probably defended them all of 3 times. Don't be a nutthugger call them both out.

pacquiao paid his dues in the featherweight division showing his dominance before he stepped up to face the likes of oscar and hatton. Bradley is not even relevant untill he shows his dominance which he hasn't. Beat khan alexander then he can talk. When did williams last fight at welterweight. People complain about donaire fighting small people but its o.k for williams.

Cotto and marg was in Floyds division and big names with good resumes and he didn't fight them how is that similar.

If you define what floyd did when he chose not to fight cotto and marg as "ducking" then you should also use "ducking" to define manny choosing to fight marg rather than bradley or williams, who is back at 147, (why I have no idea,) but he is and called manny out.

WTF did Clottey do? He wins a title by Technical Decision (never defends it), loses to Margarito and loses to Cotto. Yet he gets a shot because he fights for Arum.

Bradley is an undefeated 140lb champ with 4 succesful defenses. More than Pac ever did at 140lbs. Why not Bradley?
