Horus Presents: WHY is Team Pacquiao making getting 50% a STICKING POINT!!!

Although the numbers don't lie, and you have to be a tard to think Pacquiao deserves 50% because he's somhow still a bigger draw. The fact is as much as Mayweather sells fight, neither Pac or May alone can make the kind of $$$ and ppv buys this fight will generate on their own.

At this point 50/50 is fair, at least in my opinion, though i would prefer no cut off date, but it do think this; If this fight somehow ends up getting pushed back till next year, and Pacquiao fights lets say a Cotto or Marg fight and it doesn't manage to pull more then 1 million ppv buy, he will be in no position to request anything. You really never know what might happen so i just hope the fight gets made now.

The most it's gonna be is 55/45 going Floyd's way, and I say that's probably pushing it. Floyd will take the 50/50. Again, I have yet to hear either GBP or Mayweather deny these claims which if there's an apparent "Gag Order" some action would've taken place in normal situations.

All I gotta say to you Horus is this, who in the world can Mayweather fight and can bring in the numbers Pac/May will? Fact of the matter is yes Mayweather is a slightly better PPV draw but nobody else brings the chance for a 2+mil PPV besides Pac. This isn't a Huge star/unknown fight, its two huge stars fighting and even though one has sold a bit more, in relative terms they are equal especially when considering all of the alternatives.

oh there is. pac-cotto and floyd-mosley doing similar numbers and their opponents have similar fan-base. you just dont want to look at it that way.

And Pacquiao turned it down. Which in my opinion was the best deal he could have ever gotten from Mayweather.

Mayweather gave Pacquiao the best case senerio back in December. And Pacquiao turn it down.

Now that Pacquiao has proven he is not as big of draw as Mayweather. and Mayweather has proven without a doubt he is a bigger than than Manny.
With his last fight with Mosley which did better than any Manny Pacquiao ppv in his career.

The circumstances have now changed, and Pacquiao needs to realise he blew a perfect oppurntunity last year and that deal is gone.

I am a Pacquiao fan and 100% pure blooded Filipino and I agree. Mayweather deserves more cut on the split.
