Horus Presents: WHY is Team Pacquiao making getting 50% a STICKING POINT!!!

60-40 either way wont make the fight. 50/50 is fair. the 2.5M w/ oscar is going way over floyd's head, he thinks it's because of him and not dlh.
fair comparison is pac-cotto and floyd-mosley. they're about even in ppv numbers and the popularity of the opponents. dont even bring up clottey, that guy has no fanbase and is known only to pure hardcore fans, and still got impressive 700k buys w/o a 24/7.

Good thread Horus. The numbers speak for themselves, Any unbiased, intelligent person can see that Pacquiao does not deserve 50-50 under any circumstances. Personally I think it's another way to try and kill the fight and make Mayweather look bad, But in reality they just make themselves look bad. Especially Pacquiao who not too long ago claimed "I fight for the people, I fight for legacy and I fight for belts".
Now everyone can see Pacquiao for the fraud he really is.

Horus,my dude, the majority of the world believes Pacman is the man to beat, stats wise may say different!!I personally believe Pacman is where the goods is at myself!!The point I'm making is ppv #s & that sort of thing shouldn't stop a fight of this magnitude from happening!!Instead of fans of either fighter bickering about why their fighter deserves more revenue, maybe they should figure out a way to get those guys to understand that they just need to fight, their looking for the way to better each other outside the ring while boxing is dying & them 2 are the one's who can save it!!Take 50/50,make the fight happen & whoever wins gets 60/40 the second time around!!

2.And Is Team Mayweather Justified in turning down Team Pacquiao demands due to the fact, that they through their body of work have earned the right to earned more money based on the fact they bring in more money.

They both will make more money than they've ever made by fighting eachother. Although Floyd has earned more than Pac in the past, this fight is a fight of high signifigance. Biggest/most anticipated fight since Ali/Frazier. 50/50 should get it done. If Floyd was to walk away from it over 10%, it will show that he had no interest in taking the fight. On the flip side, if a 55/45 offer was presented to Pac in favor of Floyd and Pac were to turn it down, he's a flat out ass!

By team Pacquiao making 50% a sticking point, they are effectively letting us boxing fans know, they have no interest in this fight, unless they can receive money by all measures they have no merit to earn or be rewarded with, when they have a possible opponent who has undisputable claim backed by facts that they deserves more financial consideration based on what the facts tell us.

To me for Team Pac to have the audacity to demand 50/50 is bull****, now if Team Mayweather was kind enough to offer a split fine, but for these guys to act like they bringing in 50% of the revenue is a joke. Floyd sells the fights period, he is the guy who generates the big money not Pacquiao.
