With Pac-Bradley, the money simply isn't as attractive compared to a Mayweather, Margarito or Cotto fight, and there is no widespread clamor for it, except from Timmy's accountants. [/Q

From what i know he made the same 8m with Baldo and got the true WW title. Sorry but it is the same situation. The standard for Pac as #1 are different than floyds. Pac can not fight whoever and its smart business , floyd doesnt fight someone and hes a duck. It is an unfair double-standard and you are contributing to it.

Let's disregard the issue of money.

Do we agree that ducking a fighter is when you choose a less worthy opponent over someone who has a better fighting chance against you? If so, is it the majority consensus that the Bradley of today is a worthier opponent (with better fighting chance) against Pacquiao than Cotto at 154 or Margarito at 147? If most people believe this, then yes, Pacquiao will be ducking Bradley if he selects Margo or Cotto.

However, most comments I read here at BS state that Pacquiao (and Mayweather for that matter) is too soon for Bradley at this stage in his career. And using the definition of ducking that we agreed to above, it would appear more likely that Bradley is ducking Alexander by fighting Abregu.

If Bradley was a Top rank fighter the fight would probably the best option right now.

What options does he have that does not include dodging serious comp?

Cotto- Nothing he did in the first fight warrants a rematch point blank. That fight should not happen for any reason. That is cherry picking at its finest.

Margarito- This guy has done nothing in the past 2 years besides get caught cheating and get knocked out.

Those are the only people he wants to fight. Any one else gives him more of a challenge and he doesnt want that.

I mean geez all bradley has done is become number #1 in the division that PAc is supposedly champ of and maintained an undefeated record. He doesnt deserve a shot at the champ? C'mon on

Bradley need to up his name and a fight with devon alexander would put him in the front window of the next contenders to face the Mayweather or Pacquiaos, If Bradley is not careful Amir Khan would leapfrog him into that position every soon.

[QUOTE=Rip Chudd;8779932]What does Margarito do for his legacy? Or beating a Cotto who he already whooped? Don't give me that 8th title in a different weight division crap, if he fights Cotto it's plain old cherry picking. Just like if Floyd would of fought Hatton again.[/QUOTE

then why bradley? margarito is proven..i dont really like the idea manny taking on cotto but if iam manny yes iam going to go for 8 titles..and why not for his 8 titles? if you were manny?

Margarito is a proven cheater. He has done nothing that warrants a fight with Pac. He got whooped against Mosley, then didn't even look impressive in his last fight. Bradley on the other hand has proven himself in the weight division that Pac is still the lineal champ in. Heck he's even fighting next at 147 to show he can handle the weight. Why not if I were Manny? I'll tell you why. Cause if Manny fights for the fans like he claims he does then he would know nobody wants to see him beat on someone he already whooped if the first fight wasn't competitive. If he can fight Margarito then he could of fought Yuri Foreman for the title cause they are the same height and Margarito even has a reach advantage over Yuri. Plus the fight with Cotto is said it will happen at a catchweight! Come on man winning titles at a catchweight!? I've watched Pac since his first fight with Ledwaba (can't spell his first name cause it's like 15-20 letters) on HBO. I've liked the dude for years. But if he fights Cotto I gotta call it what it is, cherry picking. If he fights Margs I won't watch cause Margs hasn't done anything to earn a shot. He should fight the best skilled opponent. But then again it's not all about what boxing fans want nowadays. Man i'm hoping this Pac vs Mayweather fight happens!

Who in here actually thinks Pac vs Cotto 2 will end a different result? Who in here doesn't think if Margs fights Pac that Margs will catch a beatdown of Mosley like proportions? Isn't one of the problems with Floyd that people say they want to see him against someone where as soon as you announce the fight it's not already a foregone conclusion that he's gonna win. Why not the same with every fighter? Skill wise Bradley is the best option. Sad that skills alone don't really get you a shot at the best fighters nowadays.
You right brother. Now adays it's all about money and taking the easy road to glory.Khan wants to fight JMM why he is a LW go fight Maidana or Bradley or Devon..All these fighters want legacy without the work.Pac paid his dues so did Mayweather I can't be mad at them as much as these young guys.Bradley IMO has fought everybody they put in front of him real throw back fighter.I believe the wait for Devon Bradley is smart and is giving both fighters a bigger name honestly.
