Comments Thread For: Bradley Responds To Arum on Pacquiao Fight Comments

Look Bradley is in a division that has some good talent in it. He should see what he can do there b4 he mentions Pacquiao or Mayweather. Alexander, Maidana and even Khan are top dogs in the division. Imo, Victor Ortiz would **** Bradley's **** up. Any1 disagree???

Even though marg was a nobody and fighting him didnt make sense just like a Pac-Bradley fight wouldnt make sense floyd was a duck and a coward. So i have to call Pac a duck who is afraid of Bradley. (once again I dont believe either pulled a duck move but lets be fair here)
There are two things wrong why your analogy doesn't work. Mayweather stood to make 8M guaranteed for the Margarito fight, yet fought Baldomir for less. There was also a larger public clamor for a Margo fight rather than a Baldomir fight.
With Pac-Bradley, the money simply isn't as attractive compared to a Mayweather, Margarito or Cotto fight, and there is no widespread clamor for it, except from Timmy's accountants.

If you were Bob Arum, would you want to share the proceeds with Shaw over a Pac-Clottey level of income or would you rather do it on your own by using a similar-level in-house fighter, to whom you also happen to have a responsibility as a promoter?
The fact is, Shaw and Bradley are still on the outside looking in, bitchin' about Arum not throwing them a piece of the Pacquiao pie. And they will remain that way until Bradley becomes too big to ignore.
Also, Shaw is doing the exact same thing of refusing to grant an outside fighter (Nonito Donaire) the chance to earn a decent payday against his own cash cow in Darchinyan. The reason is not even because the fighter is undeserving, but just pure pettiness and fear on his and his boxer's part.
Hypocrisy at its best!

that's a pretty hefty list...bradley still has to
differentiate himself from the rest of the 140 lb guys...it's not fair...but that's the way it
is...khan has a bigger fan base and he just got over here...bradley pays his dues on HBO and
he'll be there soon enoug...
he was rank num 1 when Devon and Khan was not even ranked.Bradley is a bigger name then Clottey.Bradley fought Witter a big name in the UK.he fought Holt who had a classic fight with Torres. He is a bigger name the Clottey and not to mention he is undefeated.Clotteys biggest win was Judah not a good sign.Bradley IMO is the better opponent then Margas or Cotto.Bradley brings speed and great Boxing ability to the ring and would be dangerous even tho he does not have punching(That much)power. All in all he is the best opponent for Pac other then May or Devon IMO
