Comments Thread For: Bradley Responds To Arum on Pacquiao Fight Comments

Promoters Bob Arum and Gary Shaw recently went back and forth in this space on the subject of a possible Timothy Bradley-Manny Pacquiao fight. Arum, Pacquiao's promoter, was asked if Bradley would be a viable opponent for Pacquiao should a fight not get made between Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. [Click Here To Read More]

Bradley need not worry. Pacquiao, Arum and ******* apologists fail to realise that Pacquiao fights for money. I'm sick of hearing the same **** that "Pacquiao fights anyone regardless of PPV attraction unlike Mayweather that cherry picker". What a load of ****.

Bradley is a future PPV star.

i really don't think bradley is a bigger name than clottey...even though i think his name is big enough...clottey fought:

        margo
        corrales
        cotto
        baldo
        judah

that's a pretty hefty list...bradley still has to differentiate himself from the rest of the 140 lb guys...it's not fair...but that's the way it is...khan has a bigger fan base and he just got over here...bradley pays his dues on HBO and he'll be there soon enoug...

Floyd does not even see him as an opponent.
          So does Roger Mayweather.

He has no history of being in a ppv fight.

If you're a draw, HBO won't hesistate putting "more money on the table" like you've always been b*tching about. (on a televised/free fight)

Like the top poster said, your opponents do not even compare to:
          margo
          corrales
          cotto
          baldo
          judah

You're wrong, Floyd ONLY fights for money. Pac fights for money, legacy and his people.

I'm glad that he's mentioned that he realizes that he has some work to do before Pac or Floyd will see him as a good choice of opponents, because he clearly does. If he can get by Alexander, Berto and an elite WW like Clottey, then I don't see why not. Of course that's much easier said than done, so its only a matter of time before the world sees if Timmy is ready!
