You are assuming things. I see this fight as 50/50 with floyd being the favorite. Floyd is one of the most skilled fighters I have ever seen. Floyds defense/timing/reflexes/quickness/accuracy is jaw dropping. I want to see his skills tested with another man who has been dominating his competition (making them look like bums) as of late. I just want to see this fight and people arguing for the 60/40 would be going against that.
Great post. I'm honest enough also to say that Floyd is the best fighter on the planet and probably of the last 15 years. I criticize his willingness to challenge that talent, as such I don't give him entire credit which is what his fans want to see people offer him, but that's another topic entirely.

I think he beats Pac, at first encountering some difficulty then eventually dominating him down the stretch. Here is what I don't understand and correct me if I'm wrong...

    1) Last time when they agreed upon the 50-50 split, did May have bigger numbers then also? YES...but he still agreed.

    2) Does he have bigger numbers now...YES. But what is different about that now, as opposed to before? Nothing has changed in that regard.

I don't think that Mayweather is scared of Pac. I really believe this is a pissing contest for him and he wants to ride it out as far as it will take him, if only for his amusement. There is reality and then there is the world that Floyd operates in, his own odd and delusional reality.

And you didn't see that as one sided? LOL!

To all the people that use the term "Gayweather", please stop using that to refer to another person. It's very offensive.

I'm very proud to be a Pacquiao fan boy and a gay Filipino man, but what I am most proud of is to be a gay rights activist.

All Pacquiao fans must unite and stop the hate. No more use of the word "Gayweather".

        Go Manny!

Agreed.. That's why we all want to see it. Also why we are confused. Why is floyd making it so difficult? manny is tailor made for floyd. floyd can cash in on an easy payday, which could be the biggest of his career.

This type of illogical thinking reminds of Latrell Sprewell back in the day. I used to be a fan of his until these ****** comments. Everyone had a field day with Latrell (who eventually became bankrupt).

Latrell Sprewell says he'll ask to be traded if the Minnesota Timberwolves don't sign him to a contract extension by Wednesday night's opener. ''I think this thing is heading towards me leaving, personally,'' Sprewell told reporters after a practice this week. Earlier this preseason, Sprewell said he wanted a contract extension by the Wolves' opener, against the New York Knicks, or he would ask for a sign-and-trade deal or wait to become a free agent. Either way, Sprewell said he didn't want to negotiate during the season. But he took a tougher stance Sunday. Asked if he would play out the season and test the free-agent market, Sprewell said: ''Why would I want to help them win a title? They're not doing anything for me. I'm at risk. I have a lot of risk here. I got my family to feed.'' Sprewell is due to make $14.6 million this year. Sprewell, 34, described the team's latest offer, reported to be worth between $27 million and $30 million over three years, as ''insulting.''
Lol right. I think his exact words were when describing the offer as..."slave wages", and it was a multimillion dollar contract!

You cannot in any business decline a proposal, then depreciate your worth by taking a lesser job, and then expect the business associate who offered you the 1st sweet deal to re-extend the same exact offer after they themselves have increased their worth. Business does NOT work that way. It never has and never will. I won't even touch the additional drug testing as that is a completely seperate issue.

By Manny taking the Clottey fight(and not agreeing to the very same terms that he is asking for NOW)he depreciated his worth by taking an opponent that everyone thought he would beat convincingly and that almost everyone saw the match as tailor made for a Pac victory; not to mention he was coming off of a loss, and pulled out of negotiations for abig money fight in December. Floyd on the other hand picked an opponent that NO one thought he would fight let alone DOMINATE(as this opponent was a dangerous opponent.......Shane, not to mention the consenus #1 WW, who while shelved for a year was coming off a dramatic win). Floyd's stock rose, Pac's stock has fallen. Therefore 50?50 is unreasonable. 55/45 is very reasonable.
This is the truth and nothing but the truth. This is a fact and not a opinion. If you people can't understand this then yall should just stop talking because half the **** you people say make no damn sence.

If Pac agreed to 60/40, does anyone think
that BOY Wouldn't find another EXCUSE
                  PUNK OUT???

The MASTER of AVOIDANCE, wants no part
                  of pac's SPEED and POWER!!!

Unbelievable. Sprewell was eventually humbled, went bankrupt. Floyd might follow that same path. They both even had their yachts repo'd. lol

because floyd is the bigger draw so he demands more. Pac got a bigger split than hatton and clottey and cotto. Why did he? The answer is easy, he was the bigger draw. Now in this fight floyd is the bigger draw so he demands more. Why is this so hard for you people to understand.
