You didn't buy anything? Why was 14 days good enough back then but not anymore? Why once manny agreed to the blood testing 14 days (floyds terms), floyd looked for another issue (60/40) split, knowing manny wouldn't accept those terms.

Pac is willing to accept it this time to COMPROMISE and give the FANS what WE want. How hard is that to comprehend? Any boxing fan wouldn't care about this ****. Fact is Manny accepted terms that were set by Floyd himself.



Pac ran away? LOL! Why would he change his mind? What has changed? And Manny/Roach already stated that they would fight the Floyd/Shane winner. Manny announced that in the post fight interview with clottey.

Pac backtracking? Floyd is the one backtracking taking back all the terms he set forth. Pacquiao is COMPROMISING to get this fight to happen for the FANS, yet Floyd is saying.. 'no more deal' 'i'm going to take 2 years off' .. LOL!



Manny fights Bradley, destroys him and you'll have people saying manny ducked floyd and that bradley was overrated or too green still. Manny already stated he'd fight the winner of shane/floyd at his post fight interview after the clottey fight.



How is manny cherry picking? Manny is compromising and trying to get this fight made. Floyd is making it more difficult. Not that hard to see.

I have personally said I agree with 50-50. The fact is Pac turned down that offer. That was when Pac had the leverage on Mayweather. Now that Mayweather beat Mosley and sold 2X the PPV #'s he believes he has the leverage.

Mayweather is the king of mind games and Pac's team don't want to fall to it. As for Team Pac fighting Mosley NOW lol of course he was just exposed (yet I would pay to see Pac fight Mosley), just like Cotto, Hatton and Hoya was. OUCH my man ouch...... Clottey doesn't deserve to be mentioned. As for Bradley, he's not been exposed ("promoted enough") to fight Pac regardless if pac would destroy him. Shyt anything would have been better than Clottey who was cherry picked.

Fact is, Pac walked away from the exact same deal he's attempting too accept now that doesn't exist since the moment he stepped in a court room to fight. Who doesn't want to fight who? Mayweather already agreed to what Pac wants now, only problem is this deal as of months ago doesn't exist because Mayweather beat Mosley and sold 2X the number Pac sold.

Those are the facts and that's what I base my opinion on. You wont change it. Just like you wont change the fact that Pac will be technically exposed by Floyd and labeled an old fighter who was too small to fight Mayweather and that it wasn't fair and that Mayweather cherry picked Pac and is ducking PWILL and Sergio Martinez.

What Roach said is true "Pac isn't ready for a fighter like Mayweather", just like Mosley was "too good" to fight Pac (before Mayweather technically destroyed him). I like Pac, he's great. Just not Mayweather great.

50% (even 30-40%) of a fight with pacquiao will get floyd more money than any other fight in boxing right now.

Yes I do think a fighter has something to say about how much he makes and who he fights, but I said that sarcastically because Manny is always saying the same thing when asked about future fights being made "my job is to get in the ring and fight". *******s praise him for this, but when he releases press statements like this, I don't believe anything that comes out of the guy's mouth.

50/50 is NOT fair anymore. It was in January, but not after May 1st. You cannot in any business decline a proposal, then depreciate your worth by taking a lesser job, and then expect the business associate who offered you the 1st sweet deal to re-extend the same exact offer after they themselves have increased their worth. Business does NOT work that way. It never has and never will. I won't even touch the additional drug testing as that is a completely seperate issue.

By Manny taking the Clottey fight(and not agreeing to the very same terms that he is asking for NOW)he depreciated his worth by taking an opponent that everyone thought he would beat convincingly and that almost everyone saw the match as tailor made for a Pac victory; not to mention he was coming off of a loss, and pulled out of negotiations for abig money fight in December. Floyd on the other hand picked an opponent that NO one thought he would fight let alone DOMINATE(as this opponent was a dangerous opponent.......Shane, not to mention the consenus #1 WW, who while shelved for a year was coming off a dramatic win). Floyd's stock rose, Pac's stock has fallen. Therefore 50?50 is unreasonable. 55/45 is very reasonable.

I agree with some of your points. I see it both ways. You think just because I'm siding with manny that I'm blind to other things? I'm just giving my opinion like you are. You are assuming things. I see this fight as 50/50 with floyd being the favorite. Floyd is one of the most skilled fighters I have ever seen. Floyds defense/timing/reflexes/quickness/accuracy is jaw dropping. I want to see his skills tested with another man who has been dominating his competition (making them look like bums) as of late. I just want to see this fight and people arguing for the 60/40 would be going against that.

Personally, i think this thread bears a lot of common sense and is worth looking at in regards to why 50/50 is proper for the fight.
