Brock is better than people are giving him credit for, but I don't know whether he's ready for Vitali.

As far as Rahman being a one punch wonder, etc., he has been a top ranked heavyweight now since the late 90's. Fighters who suck and only got lucky one time don't have that kind of consistency.

His last 3 fights were garbage. Name another top ten guy that fights 3 scrubs in a row.

Calvin outboxes him and steals his WBC strap, Calvin is faster and has better movement and is far more experienced IMO due to his amateur career.

Brock has the ability to **** with the big guys and has experience, Boy ohhh Boy Vitali is doomed. He would be better with the elder Rahman.
Jinx, I agree...VK is in trouble...

...lol lol lol Brock would be terribly overmatched in this fight and IMO wouldn't last 7 rounds. If Vitali can handle a guy as fast as Byrd then he certainly won't have any problems with a guy like Brock(who is another overated up and comer). IMO the Brock fight will be easier than the Maskaev fight would have been. I was a little worried by the Maskaev thing but I have no fear for Vitali against Brock whatsoever.

No matter who he fights he must do it soon. He is loosing a lot of ground and rep.\
I know he is hurt but he needs to hurry.

I dont share your feelings about Brock but I may be wrong, I definately may be wrong, I just dont see a whole lot.

As for Rahman being consistent the late 90's...what you say is certainly debatable!

Besides Rock's win over LL what big win does he have ion his pocket...I dont count his draw over Tua as a big win even though he deserved the victory...he was still out of shape and it was not that he was that impressive rather how pathetic Tua had really become.

Who has he beaten? Kahli Meehan...Rahman's consistency a top the rankings is not a testiment to him rather a testiment to how ****ty the division is...and when you are working with a guy like King you can loose fight after fight like Rock and Golota have done and it is no big deal because don keeps rotating these guys right into the mix regardless of how they perform.

He fought once a month over a four month period to stay busy and get back into fighting shape. Top fighters have been doing that for as long as boxing has been around. For example, Tyson used to fight scrubs once a month. Remember? You should be praising his old school work ethic, not trashing it.

And in his last fight, he took on the #5 ranked heavyweight, Meehan.

How about a prime Corrie Sanders (not the old, fat golfer that Vitali beat)?

Yes, it was a joke that Meehan was ranked that high. I agree. But, don't forget that Meehan put a beating on Lamon Brewster and many were calling Meehan the legit WBO champion.

Rahman went out and took care of business, and you can't ask for more than that.
