Since the minute mayweather retired they been taking the cheap way to his p4p status, by not fighting any live bodies and fight guys who are either weight drained (de la hoya) was ko'd previously to fighting them (hatton) or has to come down from his natural weight (cotto) Funny how they use the assessment "That since manny ko'd the 2 guys that floyd fought last, (prior to him fighting marquez) that he's as good as floyd or better.. However, they won't dare use that assessment when they look at how he demolished Marquez who Pacquiao struggled with. The naysayers say, well he made a guy come up 2 weight classes, so it's a problem, but they could fight Cotto at 145lbs, and bring de la hoya down to a weight he didn't fight in over a decade and NOBODY SAYS ****.

Dayum my dude. EXCELLENT POST! Couldn't have said it better. I totally agree.

I like the fact that Floyd's team is keeping the negotiations out of the media unlike Pac's side regardless of the demands on the table. Floyd's demand for more $ pending the ppv buys against Mosley is nothing new to Pac, his team or his fans, well some of his fans. Just as we all know Floyd will probably not get exactly what he wants on the testing issue. To say Floyd is ducking is ridiculous - this is BUSINESS.
The mere fact that you are posting your comments on this thread only proves that you are as much interested on Pac as with this fight from happening. Previous PPV buys don't mean **** because we all want for this fight to happen. We all would want to buy that PPV not just because Floyd would be fighting but also because Pac is in the ring with him.

      50/50 is fair.

Mayweather did over one million more buys fighting Oscar than Pacquiao did. That really should end that debate. Because at the end of the day, HBO could care less about a live gate if it means they get less money. And the bottom line is always the dollar sign.

        I second that IMDAZED.

51 pages and no one has any proof, that any of this is even remotely true.

Well he fought twice more after Baldomir and retired as the biggest star in the sport. But that's neither here nor there and quite frankly, everything you're saying is irrelevant. Let's stick to the topic at hand.
What I stated was relevant in order to explain why I wasn't attempting to say he was ducking anyone. I just think he feels the need to control every aspect of negotiations for no other purpose than his own self-aggrandizement.

You are waaaaaay too emotional. I've been reading your comments the whole thread. And what are you talking about his response? Dude said he wanted more than 50/50 back in February, where were you then?

I think every fighter feels the need to control negotiations. Makes him no different than the other current superstar (Pacquiao) and the last one (Oscar). Sheesh, it's not like he's asking for Pacquiao to fight him at 160. If you put personal thoughts aside, you'd see that the only thing he asked for was drug testing. Since when is that an issue someone should get bashed for? I just don't get it.

JMM is a draw in own right, but he's never approached anything close to the 1.1M PPV buys he did with Mayweather. He did 400K as the B side of Pacqauio-Marquez II which was his previous high. And in his lone shot at being an A side PPV attraction, he did 100K buys with Casamayor. So looking at his previous numbers, I wouldn't credit him too much with the numbers he and Mayweather we able to do.

Because he's not doing it in the best interest of the sport, he is doing it for him and him only, which is cool but be honest with the public and don't pass on any false pretense like you're doing something because of integrity, anyone can see through that. Either way this fight generates public interest, so in the interest of the public...get it done or don't...no more pretense.

Give in anymore? When did Pac give in? Pac acts like a little ***** that has to have his way. That's why I say F--k Pac's fake ass. If I were Floyd I wouldn't play these ***** games with this dude. Humble? Pac is humble my ass and a greedy ass dude too.
