I understand that and I stated that in another post however, the numbers aren't that far off from one another. They are also taking into account the live gate and what HBO will pay for the fight. Both stand to make the most money with each other, if you want to technical and go for a purse split, doing the math based it would be 52/48 for Floyd, again those numbers aren't excessive.

Now they wanna fight Margarito and they're saying Margarito is a FORMER champion. Why isn't Manny fighting CURRENT CHAMPIONS? Am I the only one thinking this?
i echo the same sentiment, the problem is that Mayweather is being held to a level of perfection that Pacquiao is allowed to be perfectly average for. They fight guys that mayweather already beat and then beat them faster or worse and gets credit like he really accomplishes something. Since the minute mayweather retired they been taking the cheap way to his p4p status, by not fighting any live bodies and fight guys who are either weight drained (de la hoya) was ko'd previously to fighting them (hatton) or has to come down from his natural weight (cotto) Funny how they use the assessment "That since manny ko'd the 2 guys that floyd fought last, (prior to him fighting marquez) that he's as good as floyd or better.. However, they won't dare use that assessment when they look at how he demolished Marquez who Pacquiao struggled with. The naysayers say, well he made a guy come up 2 weight classes, so it's a problem, but they could fight Cotto at 145lbs, and bring de la hoya down to a weight he didn't fight in over a decade and NOBODY SAYS ****.

No, it's not. But that sorta throws the whole "Floyd wants more therefore he's ducking" jargon in the trash where it belongs. Mayweather did over one million more buys fighting Oscar than Pacquiao did. That really should end that debate. Because at the end of the day, HBO could care less about a live gate if it means they get less money. And the bottom line is always the dollar sign.

So is throwing up money in a club but hey who's judging. Hatton/Pac both brought a lot to the table, that was seen as a huge coming out party for Pac, the little big man who could scenario moving up in weight and taking on a very popular marketable figure in Hatton, who practically brought his entire country out for the fight, certain intangibles drive sales. **** when Michael Jordan decides to walk out of your fight, you got problems.

he's doin what they bashed mayweather for doing. going after higher paydays. its so ironic isnt it?? i dnt get it at all...the only top opponent pac has beaten in the last 2 or 3 years that mayweather should have fought is cotto and even then cotto wasnt on an upswing. now i dnt blame pac for goin after his money, but y dnt pp give him **** 4 it?

I don't think Floyd is ducking anyone, I never said that. What I interpret from Floyd is that he wants to see how high someone will jump, because he himself has a victim's complex and seeks to play it out with other people.

When Larry Merchant asked him some tough questions right after Baldomir, he gets up on a podium, cries and goes into semi-retirement. When pressed about why he isn't a national sports figure being that he is the best in his sport, he cries foul and pulls the race card, rather than looking within he is quick to believe there is some grand persecution against him because he's black. This is just another one of his ways to work through his issues by asking other people to serve him, because he wants to say "I was in control", that is all this amounts to, nothing more...nothing less. He would never want to be on equal footing with anyone(even if it was the realistic thing to do), because he will perceive it as being unfair....the dude has massive issues.

What makes you say that? And how does that make him different from...Pacquiao?

Well he fought twice more after Baldomir and retired as the biggest star in the sport. But that's neither here nor there and quite frankly, everything you're saying is irrelevant. Let's stick to the topic at hand.

So many demands by Floyd.. get the fight on already..

I WAS WAITING for FLOYD's response after PAC met FLOYD'S DEMANDS to have a 14-DAY CUTT-OFF.. and THIS is how he RESPONDS ?!?!? now saying he wants more MONEY than before? PAC probably doesn't want to give in anymore because FLOYD will just invent another demand.
