I beleive that 10 days out would be accceptable to the HBO excutives; it is a more restrictive deal than the former offer which was REJECTED by Team Pacquaio at the beginning of 2010.
Team Mayweather has to get this concession because no legal mind worth his salt would negotiate off of that 14-day window which was allowed to lapse or, given the express statements of Team Paqcuio outright rejected.
The deal will be a 50/50 split, clean and simple with a 10 day OST cut-off: per HBO wishes. 10 days is a duration of time which is commonly accepted in the field of law for its objective reasonableness. If Team Pacquiao can work with 14 days then it is reasonable for them to accept 10 days as well if that will seal the deal.
ask yourself this, what is pac bringing to the table? what more is he bringing than may? hes not.
floyd has the highest PPV # and gate. he generates the most interest.
so what is pac bringing to the table, his bs FOTD title? haha
floyd can rightfully make more demands than pac, get the lions gate share as well as demand RANDOM testing meaning no cut off dates. which he said was off the table
only thing pac can hope for is that floyd is fair. team pac ****ed up and they know they arent in any positions of power

how can you agree to something that doesnt exist? *******ed
Why is it that all the *****s here pretend as if Mayweather pushed a button, like a permanent button where he can't fix this whole situation. He just needs to say something along the lines of " I know I said forget the offer, but im not scared of pac I want to fight him so its back since he agrees to do it now."
He's not gonna get punished by god if he decideds to say **** it, I wanna fight him so lets do the 14 days. Its really ****** how all the *****s are really supporting this bs.

@HitKing... I didn't say either one was far and away better than the other. Even if Mayweather would have lost to Castillo in their first fight, he did win convincingly in his second fight, just like Manny aqainst Morales in their rematches. My point was all things being equal (quality of opposition, etc.), being 27-1-1 (I mistaken said 28-1 earlier) with 21 KOs looks much better and provides more exciting fights than 18-0, 8 KOs. I never said Mayweather ducked anyone and but both guys bypassed some guys however Mark Too Sharp Johnson was a Don King fighter who was mishandled and everyone knows, you fight a King fighter and you give up options so I don't hold that against him. Plus, he was pretty much over the hill because Rafael Marquez beat him pretty easily when they fought...
So, all I am saying is, they looked at the records, quality of opposition and I think the KO ratio is probably what pushed Manny over the edge. And for the record, Genaro Hernandez was finished (I had seen him fight live 3 times and he was nowhere near rthe same fighter after the war he had with Azumah Nelson) when Mayweather beat him and now that poor guy is fighting for his life....

Everyone thought de la Hoya was gonna destroy Pac. Just because we don't get the result we thought doesn't mean its time to start making excuses. The fact is, heading into Mayweather-Mosley, most felt it was the either the #1 or #2 P4P fighter in the world fighting the #3 P4P fighter in the world. Everything that happen to Mosley in that fight I credit to Mayweather. Just like everything that happen to de la Hoya I credit Pac. Hell, people were saying Cotto was ruined from the plaster. But you don't seem to want to take any credit away from Pac's win. Why are you trying to take away from Money's?
go sit in a corner, dunce

But you are right, we all on here trying to make my point. And the bottom line is, everyone loses if the fight don't get made. Mayweather lose's because he can't make $40 million fighting anyone else (which his debts are all paid from Mosley but he is still broke), Manny doesn't get $40 million either (but he doesn't need it) and we don't get to find out who the best fighter is (it can only be settled in the ring). Bottom line is Manny is putting himself out there stating a 50-50 purse with a 14-day cutoff drug testing date and the fight is on. Sounds fair when the world is divided 50-50 on who the better fighter is...
