but moving in and unloading combinations is not setting up your punches.

The 3rd / 4th punches will be the ones that land, as-is usually the case with punches-in-bunches, but he does not create openings for a pre-determined attack.

For example, say your opponent is vulnerable to a left hook because he hangs his right hand out there..... Pac won't set up the hook behind a jab/bob, or move/feint to create the opening.

It's his style, he can usually just blow you outa there.

Getting to Mayweather will be a huge problem, because..... that is Mayweathers style.

Its called timing and knowing where your opponent will be and how he will react to certain punches.

You should actually be praising him for that, because having the ability to do something like that is truly amazing (just like the picture perfect punch he landed on marquez without looking).

You people can kill this "non good reason nonsense". Pac gave us good reason enough with his myth based contradictions and excuses.

He isn't the only one. People have been saying this.

When and how did Pac change his style? You are yet another fan that hasn't been a fight fan outside of three years.
Pac agreed to a test right after the fight. Is that what a drug user would say? If he's on anything he would be caught.

Are u saying Pac was elusive (watch the Oscar fight), and a 2 fisted puncher when he fought Barrera?
He now uses his jab much more, to set up his punches, and his movement has improved, plus his right hand is excellent now, wheres before he rarely used it.

Floyd really isn't a combination puncher any longer. If you said as much, you'd have a valid stance.

I've personally never heard any world class, respectable trainer claim Floyd was a "runner". You usually here that mess from analyst and fans.
Freddie Roach is about as respectable as it gets.

well i think manny pacquiao's style has evolved and came along way, he has better rhythm and footwork now. he has a right hand, and he stalks differently. For paulie to say manny wouldn't last 8 rounds is ridiculous because i believe he's a 15 round fighter with that stamina he got. i still want the fight to happen because we need to see who's the best. i got my money on mayweather.

But, what I am saying is don't give me this well look how Pac struggled at the lower weights and now is KO'ing fools at the bigger weights bull****. Because, there have been ATG fighters in the past that have done the same thing that Pac is doing.
Who, after entering the latter parts of their career rose their KO ratio as drastically as Pac has? Honest question, I can't think of many of the top of my head.

Pac uses his amazing footwork to put his opponent where he wants them to be and then unloads a combo.

Seriously watch his fights. Watch how many times he set up Morales with feints. How he set up that uppercut against Cotto with foot work.

I think most *****s seriously underestimate pac and think he's some unschooled wild brawler. If that were true I don't know how he'd be P4P#1 today with all his accolades like fighter of the decade, fighter of the year etc..

Hell, even Floyd himself said Pac was a great fighter.

When he isn't talking out of his ass, I agree. But you're comment leaves me to question you on whether or not you respect Roach when he says the following.

I think its more of a case of throwing a bunch of darts at a wall and eventually one will land. Nonetheless he is a freak of nature and def one of the best fighters we have seen. Pacs combination of style, speed and power are truly unique and can only work for him. People don't give Pac a lot of credit because he doesn't have a traditional skill set they are used to seeing from boxers but is it as effective most definitely and i think in order to beat Mayweather your going to have to be out of the norm which Pac is. Do i think he does beat Mayweather no, but i know one thing it will be hella interesting and he has a chance more than anyone else.
