Floyd apologist tend to project their hero shortcoming to Pac. The bottomline is no sane boxing fan would ever consider Floyd to have bigger gut than Pac.

Lets say they bring in the same amount for arguements sake. Arum still has to split the money with GBP, and with Cotto he gets to keep it all in house. I'm not saying this is how I feel it should have been handled, merely pointing out how Bob Arum sees it, and why he went with Cotto.

Do you think it had anything to do with how Cotto looked against Josh Clottey where ppl thought that Clottey actually beat him? As opposed to how Shane looked against Tony?

Pac can still make 135 if he wanted too...

It could have played apart. I think the biggest factor though was Cotto's contract being up, and Arum giving him a Pacquiao fight in order to keep him. If I remember correctly, Cotto went golfing with Oscar and Oscar was making a push to get him signed with GBP. Shortly after, Arum got him the Pac fight and the rest is history.

*Atleast this is how I remember it going down*

Wasn't he busy with BERTO? While Pac was busy with Mayweather? You're a dumbass.

He fights Cotto....he's ducking Mosley....he fights Mosley...he's ducking Cotto.

IMHO Cotto was the better career decision. Not old Mosley.
