Dirrell was clearly winning the fight and outboxing Abraham when Arthur blatantly fouled him. He had put on a great boxing performance but his style of fighting really tires him out in the later rounds. Abraham was starting to get to him a bit, he was exhausted, slipped and when he got hit with the illegal blow he knew he could win on DQ if he stayed down and decided to act as if the blow really damaged him to insure he got the DQ victory. I think it's pretty easy to see (myself and the doctors I watched the fight with immediately picked up on it) because his acting was terrible. Getting so hysterical, pretending like he didn't know what had happened, all an acting job after the fact. I can't stress enough what the doctors I watched the fight with told me. Again, they say that if you absorb a blow to the head that really ****s you up then you will convulse immediately. It's not possible for someone to have such a long delayed reaction to head trauma like Dirrell displayed. Dirrell took the blow, thought about it, put his gloves up to his temples (although he got hit in the lower left jaw), went down to his back, thought about it some more, and then decided to convulse because he was exhausted and knew he'd get the DQ victory.
