You think he was? Why, because you are an AA fan?

News flash, it doesn't matter if he was hurt or not. It was a blow while he was down and AA was being DQ'd either way.

Another thing, Abraham was comprehensively neutralized and beaten easily.

None of these ridiculous threads like this on here will negate that fact.

Abraham was Dirrell's ***** in this fight.

    Pavlik would brutalize him too.

Exactly........I don't think the people who are voting yes even stuck around for the aftermath. Dirrell was so delusional that he thought he got knocked out legally or something and was crying about it.

DID YOU PEOPLE NOT SEE THE WOULD BE INTERVIEW AFTER THE FIGHT FOR CRYING OUT LOUD? DIRRELL HAD NO CLUE WHAT EVEN HAPPENED AND HE COULD NOT HAVE FAKED THAT EXPRESSION AND DISTRESS ON HIS FACE. HE STATED THAT HE GOT HIT WHILE HE WAS DOWN AFTER HIS BROTHER TOLD HIM WHEN HE TOLD SHOWTIME HE GOT "DROPPED".

On another note, I used to like AA and thought he was a cool guy. Now I see that he is just a classless sore loser. He knows damn well Dirrell was down for like three seconds on a slip before he threw the punch. He was fustrated and wanted to take advantage because he wasn't landing clean all night. What a prick. How anyone can defend this farse is beyond me. Pathetic.

That actor schooled your ass. Deal with it.

Instead he fought Dirrell like he fought everyone in the past and this hurt him quite a bit.

I watched the fight and I have to say I thought Dirrell was acting immediately. I felt this way for two main reasons. To start off with Abraham hit Dirrell in his jaw but Dirrell put his glove up to his temple area and acted as if the blow landed their instead. Even after he got back to his dressing room they were icing his temple area when he clearly got hit in his lower left jaw. Secondly, was my opinion of Dirrell's delayed response after he got hit. Specifically the way Dirrell started to shake as if he was convulsing after getting hit. This was very strange because if you get hit hard enough to convulse you do it immediately. Dirrell didn't start to convulse right away. You can get hit and have a delayed reaction (because your equilibrium is off) and then fall out but you don't get hit and have a delayed reaction and then start to convulse. When someone gets hit hard enough to shake they are truly ****ed up and it happens right away. You don't see someone get hit like Dirrell did, lie down with his hands on his head and then start to twitch 8-10 seconds later. This was bull****. Dirrell fought a great fight but he was tired, knew he would win on the DQ and chose to act at the end.

What Abraham did (fouling out of frustration) was bad and he deserved the DQ. Good fight nonetheless and the drama that has occurred so far in this tournament really makes me want to see who will prevail in the end...
        100% spot on.

This is partly WHY people don't believe his act, he over-did it big time.

          Bull****ter. Plain and simple.

People bring up the twitching but I remember Simon Brown getting knocked cold by Vincent Pettway but was still throwing punches while on the canvas. The glazed eye look that Dirrell had when he was sitting up isn't the easiest thing to fake either, especially with doctors aiming those lights in your eyes.
            My point as well exactly!

Arthur wanted to land that punch because he KNEW the ref going to rule that a slip....AGAIN.

Yes. And that phony leg shake really gave it away.

It does seem a bit of a coincidence that he did it when AA started to get to him with the power punches and that he knew he was easily winning the fight on the cards.

in the words of mangler jr, "that was the fakest **** ive ever seen".

Damn you guys will not give it up, he was in a helpless position and got clocked, even if you don't think he got hit that hard it does not take that much force to knock out someone if they are in that kind of state. I question a lot of people knowledge on knock outs if you can not accept that Dirrell was knocked silly that **** is exceedly hard to fake.
