Well it's a contentious issue when the poll reports that around 40% think he was faking. Personally I think AA would got DQ'd even if Dirrell had just shrugged it off and got up.

my first thoughts were it was definately fake and a way to end the fight and win withouth getting ko'd....but that could have been emotion as i wanted to see dirrell spanked by abraham....he looked a mess afterwards, reminded me mclellan with his eyes doing weird things, dirrell seemed spaced out and i thought at that point that it was real....who knows tbh....only he knows

it was the right call but unintentional.dirrell thought he got knocked out at first & lost but his corner had to correct him.he was out of it legitimately.he should be WBC champ & have 4 points but he's a chicken**** track star who doesn't want to fight.boxing is a hurt sport made of gladiators...direll isn't a gladiator he's a clown

I don't think so, the guy got hit clean by one of the heaviest handed fighters in the sport when he was not expecting it. People bring up the twitching but I remember Simon Brown getting knocked cold by Vincent Pettway but was still throwing punches while on the canvas. The glazed eye look that Dirrell had when he was sitting up isn't the easiest thing to fake either, especially with doctors aiming those lights in your eyes.

AA's corner had to be wiped down because of water on the canvas. Dirrell slipped twice in the same spot. If anyone is to blame it's AA's sloppy team.

Dirrell dominated most of the fight yet I feel he took advantage of the opportunity to get AA out of the fight by acting. Sure the punch landed but lets be real, convulsions?
