      1. Malinagay did not beat Cotto. Pac dominated Cotto.
      2. Malinagay did not beat Hatton. Pac KTFO Hatton.
      3. Malinagay is not a top 10 p4p fighter. Pac is p4p #1 fighter.
      4. Malinagay is looking for a big payday. Pac's fights are big payday.
      5. Malinagay is looking for attention. Pac is the center of attention.

Oh and Paulie has no respect for Pacquiao at all. If you read one of his earlier accusations, he questions why this "midget" is acheiving what he couldn't.

Just imagine if Paulie was a welterweight fighting Floyd. That 24/7 would be EPIC.

The thread title mentions Steroids. And Paulie has been implying this for the past 6 months.

Pacquiao's incredible work ethic allowed him to do what he did Saturday. Ariza has said many times that Pacquiao doesn't train like most fighters. He doesn't do your prototypical boxing training regimen. Plus he has 3 highly trained professionals using him as their personal project pretty much. He's like a well-oiled machine with everyone working on him. His nutritional and strength training is unprecedented. You try something different, you get different results. So I'm not gonna automatically chalk it up to PEDS.

Could it be that he is just blessed with it. It's not like he does not have the workrate or the power combo or the stamina before the Diaz fight. Check out the Barrera fight. You can go as low as the Ledwaba or Sasakul fight. He was still unrefined but you could see the raw talent in there. If his past performances gave no indication that he has that natural ability then Paulie's statements would have more validity. On side note, ask yourself what does Paulie stand to gain in all of this?
                  1. Publicity
                  2. Justification for his performances against Cotto compared to Pac
                  3. Justification for his performances against Hatton compared to Pac
                  4. Acknowledgment of his contribution to the war against drugs?

                    Manny's punch stat average
                    TOTAL PUNCHES PER ROUND
                    WGT. LANDED/THROWN/PCT. WGT. CLASS AVG.
                    112 13/50/26% 18/62/29%
                    122-126 21/64/33% 18/57/32%
                    130-135 20/69/30% 19/64/30%
                    140-147 29/68/43% 19/58/33%
FLYWEIGHT STATS COMPILED FROM FOUR FIGHTS, THREE OF WHICH WERE TITLE FIGHTS. FOUR OPPONENTS HAD A COMBINED 104-10-1 RECORD WHEN THEY FOUGHT PAC. PAC FLYWEIGHT AVERAGES WERE WELL BELOW THE WGT. CLASS AVG. HIS OUTPUT AT 122-126 & 130-135 INCREASED FROM FLYWEIGHT, BUT WAS AROUND EACH WGT. CLASS AVG. HIS PUNCHES LANDED AT 140-147 (LAST 3 FIGHTS- VS. FUTURE HALL OF FAMERS COTTO & DELAHOYA AND BORDERLINE HALL OF FAMER HATTON) MORE THAN DOUBLED (UP 123%) HIS FLYWEIGHT NUMBERS, WHILE PUNCHES THROWN ROSE 36%. HIS PUNCHES LANDED AT 140-147 ARE 53% ABOVE WGT. CLASS AVG.

look I hear what he is saying, It is a little strange that all of a sudden Pac rattles off over 100 punches per round and a lot of power punches 682. Thats 50 morepower punches than he threw total punches against Marquez in their first battle.
