Great, another moron that doesn't appreciate a fighter's heart and will to win. Weren't you the same fool that said Floyd never hurt Hatton throughout their fight?

Btw, 90% of Boxingscene members were picking PW to destroy Martinez because 90% of Boxingscene members had no idea who Sergio Martinez was.
At this point I see people ducking Martinez rather than Paul Williams.

I've been saying for a long time now that P.Williams was overrated, but for some reason people are too ****** to look at things objectively. Now they're overrating Martinez, the man which as you rightfully said, was unknown by 90% of Boxingscene a few hours ago. It's an endless cycle of ******ity on here. Can we at least wait for Martinez to do something better than lose to an overrated boxer before we overrate him as well?

I'll give Martinez credit when he goes up to 160 and beats Pavlik or he goes down to 147 and beats Mosley, Clottey, Pac, or Mayweather.

A few hours ago, Martinez was just another bum P. Will was gonna add to his list of KO's.

How things can change so fast I don't know....

I've been saying it since day one and most people called me crazy. After tonight they may be more willing to eat their words.

People were saying that no one from 147-160 poses even a CHALLENGE to Paul Williams. I think Martinez showed tonight that he was much more than a challenge.

Let's just stop overrating fighters OK?
You joined in 09 so probably didnt tsee me say it a loooong time ago

I have to admit he showed heart tonight I thought he was a goner there a few times.

He showed a lot of heart, but the way he gets overrated on here it's like he's supposed to tear through his opponents chest and eat them.

Props for calling it earlier than myself. Green K.

well what difference does the score make? the fight was close. had the judge gave it a 115-113 to williams, the result would have been the same. close fights should never be called robberies.

Paul showed a lot of heart tonight, it was arguably FOTY and he did what he does. Yeah the scorecard was wack. Every fighter is overrated by someone. I gained a lot of respect for Paul and Sergio, hopefully these guys can do it again.

Who gives a **** if YOU decide to give credit to Martinez (or PW for that matter). If you couldn't tell that Martinez is a world class fighter on tonights performance alone, then you haven't got a clue about what a world class fighter is. Tell me another fighter who would have done as well against PW tonight. You seem very high on yourself with regard to boxing knowledge. I'll agree that B.S. has a **** load of dumbass fans, but you seem to be sitting right there with them. You're focusing on PW's flaws (namely his defense) and glossing over all of the attributes that make him so dangerous.
