This could be the most significant fight of are generation. Are fight of the Millennium.

Boxing's Bruce Lee has truly arrived.
i completely disagree with them entering the fights as equals pacs resume is much more impressive than pbf IMO they have both faught hatton and dlh but pacs wins were much more impressive than pbf's were and say what you will about dlh bein over the hill or hatton being over rated it doesnt change the fact that pac demolished both of those fighters in much more impressive fashion...while pbf has done bigger numbers than pac in ppv buys i still feel that pac is a bigger name in the sport right now and with his win over cotto it does nothing but build his name even higher

but schaefer is correct they would have to be morons to not make this fight happen

It will be a 50-50 fight regardless of what Pac did with Cotto. Pac/Cotto SHOULD draw more PPVs than Mayweather/JMM because they are bigger names. If it doesn't, that says something about Pacquaio. Neither one of these guys is ****** enough to turn down $30 million over a few percentage points. They will have a tougher time deciding small things like who enters the ring first, which gloves they wear and ESPECIALLY the weight!

He is. He makes his own decisions and doesn't have to give his promoter 27 percent of his purse like Pacquaio does. Unless you just arrived here from another planet, you know that all fighters have promoters who negotiate on their behalf even the ones who are their own boss.

If you look at their entire careers instead of their last three fights, you will see that Mayweather's resume is much better. Also, whether you like it or not, PPV numbers mean a lot more than resumes and Mayweather is much better in that area.

Do you have any idea how ridiculous your comment is? Shane Mosley, Chad Dawson and Paul Williams have been tremendously successful in the ring, but can't sell fights, so they can't make the big money. Manny let his fists do the talking against JMM and sold 450,000 PPV buys. He let his fists do the talking against David Diaz and sold 150,000 PPV; against De La Hoya and Hatton and did 1.2 million and 825,000 respectively.

You may be delusional enough to think that what you do in the ring is all that matters, but no one else, especially the fighters, believe that. But you are right, Manny doesn't need Mayweather. He can fight Mosley or JMM in a rematch or Timothy Bradley. However, if he wants another payday of $10 million or more he has to fight Mayweather.

i wouldnt necessarily say his is much better but you are correct he did fight a lot of elite fighters earlier in his career it seems to me that pacs competition kept getting better and better while floyd more so concentrated on who was holding the WBC belts as opposed to what pac was and is doing and fighting the people who are considered the best in the division he is in
