An example of "taking anything negative and running with it" would be taking Floyd Sr. seriously when he accused Pacquiao of being on steroids without any proof.

What RA said is what people have been saying for a while.

Any person that defends Floyd Jr. must have something wrong with their head. He disrespects the sport way too much when he says things like "I'm back to steal some more money" and "If I leave, the sport is dead."

JMM was a tuneup and all you Haters need to get over that!! The man was entitled to a tuneup after being off so long... but what am I talking about, he's FLOYD MAYWEATHER, the haters will always find something to ***** about no matter what happens..
I think Floyd gets too many passes. If Sugar Ray Leonard never fought Tommy Hearns, Marvin Hagler, and Roberto Duran he'd never be revered as an ATG. Leonard before 32 fought Duran, Hearns and was on his way to fighting Hagler (off a 3 yr retirement mind you). All 3 were very tough match ups and risky fights, but Leonard took them because he knew:

        A. The fights would make big money

        B. He loved the challenge. That's what made him so great.

Floyd's fan make too many excuses for him not to fight someone. Floyd states he cant do business with Bob Arum hence why a fight with Cotto or Pacquiao would be difficult to make. But considering Top Rank and GBP are now on working terms, and GBP are pretty much playing liaison for Floyd's upcoming bouts...what's stopping these fights from being made? I find it hard to believe both Cotto and Pacquiao would turn down a fight with Floyd, so who's really to blame for these fights not taking place?

        Floyd himself...

Yeah, Oscar and Bernard do it all the time they can make big money fighting nobodies but they don't they fight the very best regardless.

Except, Oscar fought Pacquiao, Forbes (tune up like Marquez we'll give him a pass), Mayweather, Mayorga, Hopkins. He fought 3 top P4P fighters (Hopkins was either 1 or 2 when oscar fought him), a tune up and arguably the top Jr. MW champion at the time.

If you go back even further its Sturm, Mosley, Campas, Vargas..

Hopkins has fought Pavlik, Calzaghe, Wright, Taylorx2

Mayweather isn't even comparable, im sure your familiar but theres Marquez (tune up gets a pass shouldn't have been a PPV but w/e), Hatton, Oscar, Baldomir, Judah if you go back further its Mitchell, Gatti...

Argueably only one of those represented a real challenge and that was Oscar, who as we know was at the tail end of his career. So even if Oscar and Bernard dictate who they fight, they still fight the very best

1st off...great to engage in boxing talk.

I'm all for anyone making more money....great for them....but don't act like beating someone - obviously on the decline and not comfortable fighting that weight was the best fight or tuneup whatever you want to call it - you could've given the fans....(Pac/DLH)

Go on and get your paper then....GRGS "Greatest CPA" BRWR....lol!
