I know because he’s 27 and couldn’t do those things breadman was talking about to Karen chudzian. It’s asinine to insinuate he could be effective against an ATG. The guy is all hype. No elite talent great fighter take till the age of 27 to take a meaningful fight. Vergil has been in with elite fighters and is willing to fight the best. I don’t think he could do much to ODLH but he 25 and taking the fights to prove that maybe he can be a great bootsy is trying to set up a fight with Mario barrios. Kaulvauskis and bohachuk are world class competition. Would bootsy beat kaulvauskis or bohachuk? No chance based on what I’ve seen in his career. He’s not close to the level Vargas was and Oscar destroyed him(mind you that was post Tito). I’ve said I think Ortiz is the best at 154 AND I thought he was the best at 147 that includes Crawford. Whether he achieves that only time will tell but it can’t be denied that he at least ATTEMPTS to reach that. Bootsy says one thing then when push comes to shove he goes the other way. I used to be a big boots fan but I’ve seen hype jobs before I’m old and the way bootsy is moving and being handled is a red flag for a hype job

Are you able to read or are you too busy randomly grabbing penis? The point is, what’s wrong with saying boots could do things that would throw Oscar off? Nobody said boots would win, he merely said he could do things that might throw Oscar off and the typical emotional fan boys want to act as if he should say, yes Oscar wins 12-0 or knocks him out. Oscar was a flawed fighter both with his defense, his level of focus in big fights and with his stamina. There’s really no chance. Kaulvuskis would flatline him if he landed the shots Karen did. And Bohachuk? If you think bootsy could beat him don’t you think his promoter would try to make the fight? Bohanchuk would end bootsys career dude don’t play. And Why duck Ortiz after they called him out and said the fight was “a done deal” and bootsy said “I need to go to 154 I’m too big for 47”. As a fan…does that not that send you red flags? What’s indisputable is they turned down Ortiz after calling him and claiming the fight was a done deal, they refused to pay Brian Norman an extra 300k for a unification, they’ve never attempted to make a fight with stannois. The only person bootsy apparently is willing to fight is Mario barrios, who, as I’ve pointed out several times, has been KTFO by a LW and got schooled by semi retired old ass Keith Thurman. So objectively it looks to me like you and bread man are going on emotion and what you hope bootsy is. The reality is he’s 28 in a few months and has never had a relevant fight in his career and turned down the only relevant fight he was offered after begging for it. Oscar has always been a one-handed fighter who hooks off the jab. The most he does is show-shining. Oscar is not beating Boots at 147. He lost to Trinidad, lost to Mosley, and in most pundits’ minds, lost to a washed up Sweet pea, and was about to lose to Ike Quartey before those knockdowns. Boots has the size, power and skills. This combination would be a nightmare for Oscar. Oscar lost all his high profile fights.

So it’s ridiculous to think that Boots could do things that would throw Oscar off? So Oscar was so good that it would without a doubt be completely one sided? Mind you Oscar was 10-3 at welterweight, had 2 fights that could’ve gone the other way against Whitaker and Quartey. Also, an ancient Chavez and oba carr both did things that threw Oscar off. Let’s not act like Oscar was on par with a peak Roy jones who could barely be touched, Oscar had vulnerabilities.

Oscar’s shoe shining had people fooled. He was a limited fighter. He was one handed. He basically hired Mayweather Sr to develop his right hand after the Mosley losses. The second knockdown cost Quartey that fight.

His career at 25 was more accomplished than what bootsy ootsy will ever come close to attaining

Let’s be clear about one thing. Breadman said, "Let’s see more from Boots before we have him beating an ATG like Oscar". Those were his words.

Oscar is An ATG. That’s not in dispute at all. I am not saying Boots is better than Oscar. I’m not even saying he beats Oscar.

You criticize him for two fights with Karen. He won both fights by UD.

And then you criticize because he “lied” about moving to 154.
His reasons are probably the same as mine - maybe he wants to unify 147 so he can be a multiple weight champion, maybe he wants leverage of being a champion to ask for more money. I don’t know, hence my take on 2025 being a year of reckoning for Boots.

If he does nothing this year, I will join you in your critique of him.
