I think the boxing HOF is a popularity base selection not skill base. It really makes no other
    sense.

Since the crowds at these functions and visitors got brisk , HOF has become more like a business
Hence the reason for Paz getting in and attracting some casuals and the boxing fan
Canastota was an attraction but with such small crowds they’ve been pushed to this in a way

Manny Pacquiao doesn’t deserve a spot in the 2025 International Boxing Hall of Fame class because his career is nothing more than a glorified tale of exploitation and opportunism. Stripped of the fanfare, his so-called “greatness” crumbles under scrutiny. He built his reputation not on undeniable skill or legendary bouts but on preying upon washed-up fighters well past their prime, padding his record with meaningless wins that did nothing to elevate the sport.

Filipinos are about to crucify you with sacrilegious words!!
How dare you speak the truth about their glorified Superman?

Don’t you know that PAC destroyed the ATG David Diaz in his only foray at 135 Ibs?
Didn’t you know he also destroyed the anus Margarito at a dubious 150 Ibs catchweight for a vacant 154 title?

I mean I could go on and on in your defense but I don’t want to upset those that truly believe Manny’s poop don’t stink.

Both if you should be ashamed of yourselves. Starting at 108 and competing at a high level above 147, and beating many ATG in their primes, Manny is an ATG.

what he has accomplished nobody ever will and what do you gain trolling?

They let in an actor who played a boxer so it starts there. Also the hall has a North American bias and a size bias as Asian lower weight class fighters with resumes that are very deep have to wait forever to get in but middling champions who were popular with the fans get in relatively quickly like Gatti. Also if Paz is in why not Haugen?

Also Haugen has a win over a future hall of fame member in Camacho near his prime. Paz has nothing like that on his resume...

Exactly. Criticize their hero and you’re instantly the villain. Beating David Diaz, a paper champ, and Margarito in a bogus catchweight spectacle. Pacquiao’s legacy is smoke and mirror. Cherry-picked opponents and hype, not true greatness. But try saying that, and you’ll drown in blind worship. His story’s not untouchable, just wrapped in propaganda.

Love Michael Nunn. I think it was crazy that he had to do so much jail time.

Wishing the best for him and his life now.
