The Mexican Boxing Commission has come up with a new test for Surace to pass before they will sanction the fight. Surace will be given five minutes to break 3 eggs using his hands , forearms, or elbows , and half an hour to crush a head of lettuce the same way. He is allowed two free kicks . Good luck Bruno , you're going to need it.Last edited by pnut901; 11-09-2024, 10:43 AM.

As for Ryder, difficult to say if he was too worn down since he was picked after already coming off a loss. But he always the gatekeeper of the division, with his resume not really reflecting how it should be having a few debatable losses to Rocky Fielding and Callum Smith, Ryder beat Zach Parker and got a gift against a declining Daniel Jacobs.
I am a fan of the guy though I am aware some are overhyping up Munguia's capabilities, to make it seem like Alvarez is beating fighters that somehow should be heavily the favorite against former champions like Benavidez. Also to glorify his resume.
With reality being that he is a contender that just moved up, he doesn't have the exploits at Super Middleweight outside beating 2 ranked contenders and his defensive defiencies are exploitable against certain fighters. But he can have winnable entertaining bouts against top opposition like Pacheco, Plant and Mbilli, win or lose.
Berlanga however is a even more dramatic case with him being proped as a 27 year old prospect to be champion that "even Canelo could not put him down". He even got thrown down a parade for losing.Last edited by J.C. Superstar; 11-09-2024, 03:24 PM.

Bazinyan wasn't a showcase fight, albeit coming off a draw he is a top ranked contender that had a undefeated record that beat tough veterans like Marcelo Coceres, and Alantez Fox. Munguia also fought at a different promotional company like Top Rank to make it happen.

Morrell Jr and Iglesias had fought stiffer competition in 10 fights than him in over 40 fights. He would be more entertaining if he were to choose better opponents, for entertaining only he can join the WWE. I follow boxing, when I watch a fight I like the odds to be closer to 50/50, not 99/1. That's not entertainment, it is a slaughter. I hope it backfires.
