After three bouts against John Ryder, Canelo Alvarez and Erik Bazinyan in 2024. I think Munguia has earned the right to a showcase hometown fight against a easier opponent.

Surace had two bouts at 168 and has a record (25-0-2, 4 KOs). Not exactly a great bout since Saruce is not even ranked at Middleweight and he has a low KO ratio, but will I tune in to watch.

I want to see Luis Nery vs Alan Picasso since they been talking smack about each other.

I thought Nery was moving up to 126, is he staying at 122 afterall? I mean, I won't complain if it happens and I'm sure it will sell well in Mexico, but last I checked he and Fulton were bickering at eachother and thought they were going to build up a fight.

He did state that he was done at super bantamweight (122) and will be moving up to featherweight (126). But he tends to contradict himself too often.

He is now ranked at super featherweight number 2# in the WBA rankings apparently.

But he seems willing to fight Picasso in either division thinking he can still give a bout or two at 122.

I suppose we know better when his fight is scheduled in December and when makes statement of what his standing is.

Homecoming fight for Munguia to give humans his something to celebrate without much risk of upset. There aren't many winning records on Surace's resume and none that I recognize. Not much pop either
