    Tim Tszyu and those around him had been sufficiently confident of victory over Bakhram Murtazaliev that he had planned to make his first defense of the IBF junior-middleweight title back home in Sydney between Christmas Day and New Year's Eve.

    When you fight the best opponents this can happen. Tszyu is out there fighting people who come to fight rather than come to not lose (ie who just fight to not get knocked out.)

      Seems Chris Algieri is exactly on point when he said Tszyu should not fight brave but tactical.

        Yes ! I don't get the "fans" that were cheering Tim's beating because he had the nerve to sass the self proclaimed "face of boxing " his royal turkey !

          Anyone who’s not American who comes to America and demands Americans follow them will be cheered by a certain segment of boxing fans who specially if they are of “suitable” cosmetic appearance and culture

            It's you guys I rail on. Coddling Tim. But for the horrible cut he would beat King Kong. Right. All that did was get his brains scrambled.

              I still believe Tszyu without the cut still beats Fundora. The only difference this fight caused is that it just makes Murtazaliev better.

                    Without the cut? Fundora wasn't even supposed to be there. Tim was looking to defend his email title vs One Time Thurman. That was his speed.
