Before, I got it 60/40 Bivol until one point. What point was that? well...the moment I saw Benavidez struggle to take out Gvozdyk.

Gvozdyk looked massive out there but obviously with the ring rust and the age factor and AB fought and younger, fresher, unbeaten and more active version of Gvozdyk and it was like another day in the office.

AB is extremely strong and powerful and he's very relaxed for this fight like if he know something that we don't.
Firstly I have to say that everybody is just guessing how the fight will go. Nobody really knows what will happen. After the fight it will be obvious and half the people on the forum will say "I told you so". In hindsight everybody has 20/20 vision.

Anyway, I too have been thinking about the Gvozdyk comparison. At the time they fought, I though that Gvozdyk was the only man who actually had a chance to bear Beterbiev. He was a good technician with a good chin who just took out Superman. He took the fight to Beterbiev and I thought he had a decent amount of success. He was ahead on the scorecards and the fight did not feel like just another day in the office. Probably the only mistake he made was really trying to hurt Beterbiev. I don't know whether that was because of their history (when Gvozdyk was young and Beterbiev KOed him in the amateurs) or because he just took out another big puncher in Adonis Stevenson, so he was encouraged that he could do it. Maybe a bit of both.

I feel that Bivol will not make that mistake by trying to hurt and take out Beterbiev. I think he will just box him the way he did Canelo. Can he go one better than Gvozdyk and remain disciplined every minute for 12 round? His record indicates that he can. I believe that he can.

On the other hand, Bivol can win 11 one sided rounds and then be taken out inside a round by a couple of heavy shots from Beterbiev. That is what makes this fight so exciting and so unpredictable. I can't wait.

Beterbiev doesn't just throw power shots he stands in front of you at all times. Until you open up and trade. I seen Bivol wobble under a shot. He didn't look pretty.

When you handicap, it is not just a guess but an educated guess. I like Bivol in this one. Right now it looks like Bivol by decision: +130, Bivol by K.O: +600. Decent odds!

It all boils down to this : can Bivol keep his cool for 12 rounds? If so, decision for him. If not, well... we all know what that would mean. This said, I believe Beterbiev will break him.

1000% true! It's not gonna be anywhere near as competitive as what people think

Well, he knows if he's physically 100% or not.

50/50 fight, but great boxing skills usually negate great strength and punching power. I like Bivol by decision. Just my opinion.
