There are plenty of "young black guys" who are exciting fighters. Stevenson is not one of them!

While Shakur is partially correct in that there are double standard expectations of Black boxers, most of today's generation have a short attention span. They only want quick fights which usually means they're only interested in the knockout. Boxing fans who can appreciate all that the sweet science offers, love Shakur....for the most part.

I'm Black and dude is an excellent boxer.

He doesn't take enough risks in the ring. Shakur is starting to sound like a male Clarissa Shields with all of his whinning. If he were knocking guys out, then no one would be complaining about him being so boring. If he wants to see exciting, pull up fights with Sugar Ray Leonard, Tyson, Holyfield, early Mayweather Jr. Pacquaio, Hopkins, etc. Shakur reminds me of a modern day Chris Byrd who was also a stinker during his time.
Chris Byrd...now that is a blast from the past! Byrd, was an under-sized heavy weight, but to his credit he fought and beat some killers, but he was boring!

Till he does that, his fights will all appear the same.
Very well said and I agree with you 1000%. Very intelligent analysis.

because alot these young black guys think they know business, out price themselves and go into.their 30s having never fought the toughest competition out there. and Shakur does that, and then you watch him at 1am and he puts you to sleep. had some great fights last week or 2. take notes

Oh wow another Crawford with his victim mentality.

News flash you idiot AA fighters are hyped so quickly look at Haney, Keyshawn, you etc barely beat anyone of significance and all if a sudden you're "p4p"

The higher standards have always been for Latino fighters they have to do double what an AA has to do to get respect.
