If any boxer could stand up to that event, it would be Canelo

Casuals prefer to watch boxing over MMA anyway

well GGG splattered Steve Rolls and Berlanga went the distance with him (and arguably lost) - this should tell you all you need to know.

the post above me says that berlanga is extremely overrated. that's not true, nobody rates that guy. this fight is on par with the time canelo fought avni yildrim
Or when he fought Kirkland who previously was annihilated by Ishida in one round and they tried to portray him as "dangerous" going into the fight.

Canelo's PPV numbers have steadily been trending down....I imagine this will do even worse with Berlanga and going up against the UFC.

With that opponent, vs UFCs once in a lifetime Sphere event, there’s only one winner there.

Canelo’s ego is going to get his feelings hurt when the PPV numbers come in way behind the UFC card.

Canelo vs Berlanga probably won’t surpass 300k ppvs.
Well said! But it’s iin the boxing media’s best interests to keep pumping up Canelo and keep justifying the Las Vegas junkets to cover “the face of boxing.” You would think this would have ended after Canelo got his ears boxed off by Bivol - and drew low PPV numbers in the process. But some bad habits just won’t die.

What a joke. He should retire but he won't. Can Crusher Canelo, I mean.
