Teofimo Lopez is the champion. Matias, Haney, and Cruz have trinkets.

I like how he says, he prepares himself to take damage and give damage. So eloquently put when you consider his style of fight. He literally does just that. He will put you through hell and take a lot of punches himself knowing that he will eventually wear his opponent out. He showed this in his last two fights against punchers themselves in Ponce and Ergashev. Ergashev literally threw every monster punch he could come up with and I think almost every one type landed multiple times. Yet Subriel took them all, maintained himself and when it was his turn to give it back, Ergashev couldn't take it.

Nearly exact same thing happened vs Ponce. That dude threw vicious, vicious punches from the minute the bell rang and Subriel just took them. He's built different.

No doubt Teo beat the man. The circumstances are cause for doubt about him being the best. Taylor is shot and Teo isnt imposing at 140. I think Matias is the monster here.

Definitely Debatable here, yes Teo beat the man that beat the man but Teo being Teo looked horrible against Sandor Martin and Jamaine Ortiz which most fans though both did enough to beat Teo Sandor Martin especially. Don't get me wrong I like Teo but man he is just so dame inconsistent you never know what your going to get when he steps in the ring.

The Martin fight I actually scored for Martin.

But that happened before Lopez fought the reigning champion. Taylor was the champion (even though it should have been Catterall) and Lopez beat him. Whatever Lopez did before that fight is irrelevant.

I hope he fights Catterall next because Catterall deserves a shot at the real championship. But as it stands, it's Lopez and that's all there is to it. Cruz, Matias, and Haney have belts that were all stripped from Taylor; Lopez beat Taylor in the ring. End of story.

Thats a war, Matias looks great beating the 2nd and 3rd tier guys, Paro will give it a good go so we can get another look at Subriel, from what I can see the one to beat him will be Shakur.

Is this guy decent? Looks like he gets hit a lot.

Might have decent power but will probably get avoided by all the "stars" in and around his division

Looking forward to seeing the latest boxing sensation out of Puerto Rico defend his title against another tough undefeated fighter.
The card is also loaded with other up, and coming fighters from the island. So I'm anxious to see how well they do in their fight's as well.
Matias could end up being the one fighting at the Garden on Puerto Rican parade weekend instead of Zander.

Nobody with a belt at '40 is beating Matias. Maybe there are dudes waiting in the wings but nobody here and now. Haney, lol. Lopez, nah. Pitbull, bloodbath but no.
