Enough said. Great point. Any one in their right mind knows that a fight with Shane and Floyd would make great numbers. The only ones who don't think so are the huggers because they believe whatever excuses Floyd throws at them.

If Pac loses to Cotto, he will be lowballed by PBF anyway and I think he would rather retire than take verbal abuse (albeit for promo purposes) from PBF just to get the fight going. I think Pac is a pretty secure kid, emotionally, financially and legacy wise and retiring after a Cotto loss would not be a big deal for him.

So I Pac loses and gets lowballed and decides not to fight Floyd, who is Floyd left with - Shane, because I don't think he'll fight Cotto.

The unfortunate part is, I think PBF could beat Pac, Cotto or Shane any day, but just won't take the risk, especially with the the latter two.

        Do not lie.
Al, Mayweather next fight MUST be Shane Mosley. That is why I told Larry. Floyd fans want to see Floyd prove he is the best WW. Floyd nuthuggers want to see him avoid the best fighters and make bucket of money. Floyd and the winner of Pac/Cotto would be fighting for the #2 spot at WW.

I totally agree! If he doesn't fight mosley in 2010 I will be very pissed off! Screw *******, he needs to fight cotto & mosley for sure!!! I don't think he came back to beat up on just JM and *******.

Here is something for you all to ponder!! What if pwill beats the ghost for the 160lb title and pbf goes up and fights him for that belt!!! That would be historical and legendary!!

            So, that being said.....

Where is the logic in the BELTHOLDER/CHAMPION AND #1 GUY begging for a shot with the 5th best WW?

Why is Shane begging for a fight with a guy ranked lower than him?

Since when does the #4 or #5 welterweight have to give the champion "a shot"
LOL see, this is what I mean by twisting facts around.

Who's going around calling Floyd the #5 WW? LOL is it because he doesn't technically have a belt and the 4 other champs are ranked above him? If that's the case, then technically he doesn't even deserve a shot at the #1 P4P fighter regardless of who wins Nov 14th since Floyd is ranked below the top WWs, so shouldn't Mosley then be more than qualified?

LOL @ Floyd as the #5 WW in the world. Just wow...

That's one way a legend is made. Floyd keeps up his current ways of making the most money for the least risk and he'll never a legend. an ATG sure, but not a legend. It's exactly why Pac is the fighter of the decade and not Floyd.

..and my business benefits by the big events.
You are a businessman you are not a true boxing fan. A true boxing fan would rather see Corales-Castillo fight than Mayweahter-De la Hoya. Yes the big event keeps boxing in the mainstream and is well needed. However, the competitive fights is what makes this sport great. And, you don't want to see that? You not a fan of the sport bro.

By the way what is your business in boxing?

no ****, I'm happy for floyd making a lot of money, but for my own pleasure I could care less how many friggin 0's are in his check! I love watching floyd because of his talent alone!! Watching him against corrales & gatti is the kind of skills I wanna see out of him! Baldomir and DLH were boring ass fights that I probably will never watch again. But I want to see him tested and dominate someone that the majority of the public thinks he could possibly lose! Thats what I wanna see!!!!

That would be historical and legendary. It would easily put him in the top 5 of all time. If he does that I would say he is the greatest fighter I have ever seen. However, in your opinion how likely is it for Floyd to take that risk?
