It's a damn shame that boxing has become a sport where the best fighter isn't decided in the ring by fighting the best. Even with our consolation fights (cotto, vs pacuaio, Floyd vs Marquez) these are consolation fights.. Of all those fighters none of them have EVER called out Paul Williams. At least Shane Mosley was honest when he said he didn't want to fight Williams but we need to put Williams at the top of the pound for pound list cause not only is everybody ducking him but they won't even mention his name. That's when your the best. Paul Williams is feared by these so called "champions". Let's keep it real Paul Williams is the truth.

I like Paul Williams too, but how would it look to put him at #1 P4P and he ends up getting beat by Pavlik? But risk taking and moving up in weight fighting the best at the same time does deserve to be rewarded. I'm in agreement with you about that.

Actually paul williams didn't call floyd out. In his statement he mentioned he would like to fight him and a few other people. He also said " mosley is calling floyd out and i'm calling mosley out"

people dont want to give paul williams credit because they feel he was born into his belt by being huge for his weight class.. that he has an unfair advantage. maybe the problem is that these champs arent used to being the little guy.. if they had worked on their peekaboo a little bit they would be better prepared .. theres always someone taller out there, even in your weight class
