it's not floyd who's ruining boxing, it's the fans like you who support him. why would you be on mayweather's side of the argument, floyd and mosley would be one of the greatest fights of all time. all fans of boxing should demand that he fight mosley including yourself, and the winner of that fight the winner of pac vs cotto. it's too bad that will never happen because of kiss asses like you who brown nose floyd 24/7.

please allow me to share some information with you:

gatti: was a popular fighter in the northeast. He would regularly sell out boardwalk hall. Gatti did not not not need floyd to sell a gate. Repeat: Not. However, gatti had never had a par perview fight before floyd, and hadn't had one after. Arturo sold the gate. Floyd sold the ppv. And here is how he did it:



at the time, floyd was giving a zillion interviews and hyping that fight like crazy. That was when fmj adopted the "bad guy" persona. As evidenced by all the interviews and pressers above.

mitchell: that was a wcb fight, and the gate was middling - around 6,000 seats sold in portland. That was an exposure fight for floyd.

judah: floyd sold that fight 100% and you would be a bit ridiculous to suggest otherwise. Judah completely disappeared between the initial presser and the weigh-in. Zab didn't do any interviews or promo events. Floyd released a bunch of training videos to g. Leon on boxing talk dot com. That fight did around 400k buys and 15,000 seats at thomas & mack. In zab's previous fight - in his hometown of nyc, he couldn't sell 5,000 tickets. And zab had never had a ppv before.

baldomir: an unknown opponent. Baldo sold nothing. Obviously. That fight sold 330k ppv buys, and 10,000 at the gate.

delahoya: oscar had fought trinidad, shane, hopkins, vargas, mayorga, etc. The most he had done was 1.2 million. With floyd, he did 2.44 million. Interpret that data as you wish.

hatton: ricky had three previous fights in the states: Collazo, urango and castillo. None of those fights were sold out, and none of them were ppv. With floyd, the fight sold out in a day, and sold 950k ppv buys in the us and another million plus in the uk. Interpret that data as you wish.

marquez: juanman had never had a successful ppv event. His highest sales were 400k vs pacquiao. Against casamayor, jmm sold 100k buys. Jmm had to go to houston to fight baby bull diaz. Against floyd, marquez did 12,000 seats an over a million ppv buys. Interpret that data as you wish.

Dude you are ****** because you continuosly defend a man using steroids!! Once a cheater always a cheater. I used to respect and admire Mosley just like I do Mayweather. I am also a former boxer who knows and respects the fight game.

I've never heard of Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard, Oscar DeLahoya or any of the true great champs using performance enhancing drugs to get them over the top and give them a decided advantage.

You have been defending a man that could seriously affect the lives of the kids of his opponents. Mosley in essence is taking away from the mouths of some kids because he cheats!!! Who can say he is not using now? Not you. and cerainly not me!!! Margarito was suspended and that wasn't enough!!! Mosley should be reprimanded instead of being defended for his cruel actions!!!

How would you like it if your son was a boxer; and was going against Mosley. And you found out that Mosley is using steroids after he beat your son? A lost is a big let down in the sport of boxing, not to mention that certain things you put in your system could be harmful to your opponent..

Luis Resto and Collins is a perfect example of cheating affecting the lives of an entire family and took away a life. I'm sorry, but to me it's just not right nor should it be tolerated!!!

Why don't he want to fight Williams after Williams called him out? What happened to the Clottey fight? Why not fight Berto after the Margarito win? Why call out a small fighter in Manny and then criticize Mayweather for doing the same thing? I just don't understand Mosley.... Not necessarily. It would be a GREAT fight and it should be made BUT I can understand BOTH sides. If Mayweathr DOES in fact win. Mosley was old... etc. He knows the critics will talk there trash as always once he wins.

Saying that I think its the best fight for Mayweather. Since Mosley is considered by most the #1 WW it would mean a lot for his "legacy".

Mayweather's after little man Pac for a BIG/BIGGER/BIGGEST pay day of any fight in history......

SAD part is there are a lot of people that think it would be such a competitive and GREAT FIGHT...... until Mayweather outclasses him and makes it look like the Gatti and Corallas fights all over again...... I like Pac but Mayweather embarrasses him.

Cotto IMO beats Pac anyway so I think (hope) we see Mayweather vs Cotto 2010.... although I can see Mayweather fighting Pac even if he loses...

I dont see why Shane would be jealous, they all are making money. I am a fan of both fighters. I not only want to see BIG fights, I want to see BIG COMPETITIVE fights. That Floyd vs JMM fight was a Big fight, but it was a boring non competitive fight. That Shane vs Margarito fight was a Big fight , but it was also a good action fight that ended with a killer knockout. I want to see BIG COMPETITIVE FIGHTS and I know for a fact that a Shane vs Floyd fight would be a HUGE COMPETITIVE FIGHT!
